Hair salon is a no. I can't comment on all employees, but the one who did mine messed me up. Several days I am still having on and off blinding head pain. She brushed my hair wet, without even holding it. You cannot brush wet hair. My hair is very long and thick, now I am also dealing with flyaway from breakage. I noticed clumps of my hair on the floor, where it had blown together during the foiling process, whole thing being about 6hrs. At one point I was getting physically sick from the pain. I've also never had my hair cut dry, she waited until it was blow dried to cut. I've never had an experience like this in a salon, and will never allow someone to do my hair again unless we have a discussion first. I guess I assumed she was licensed so she knows what she is doing. She even combed my eyeballs twice! Yes eyeballs. Had my hair brushed forward during the cut. I've noticed since I had it done (sat, this is wed), that my hair is breaking very easily, which is not normal. Oh, and the cut is not even. Whats worse, she seemed to get annoyed with me when she would notice my face wincing in the mirrors. I would give anything to go back and have went to someone else, I had a place picked out in Tyler called hair barn, but my mother decided she wanted to go to Longview (we were out and about together). Traumatized., and still having random flashbacks, especially about the teeth of a comb rolling over my eyes I...
Read moreI recall the distressing experience of shopping for my grandfather's funeral attire after his passing. Upon visiting the store, I was followed by a black security guard whom I had never seen before. It seemed clear that someone had reported me to him. I confronted him, and he walked me to my vehicle, as if I were a potential thief. Afterwards, I visited multiple stores but couldn't find what I needed. Upon returning to the original store, I asked to speak with the supervisor. I expressed my dissatisfaction with the harassment from their security personnel and explained that I required assistance in finding suitable attire for my grandfather's funeral. The supervisor provided helpful guidance, and we selected everything needed. Initially, the total came to around $800. However, as I proceeded to pay, the supervisor offered a discount due to the earlier issue, reducing the total to $500. On that day, I felt unfairly profiled as a thief, despite being a legitimate customer spending my own money. I shop here exclusively for convenience purposes, without being influenced by their niceness or my...
Read moreI have never had such a bad experience. I was charged $30 for a deep conditioning I didn’t ask for, they also charged my 11yr old $20 for the same treatment without checking with me…the person paying. I left the salon with soggy wet hair and had to come home and blow it out and straighten it. $255 down the drain. Went in to get my highlights touched up, and my hair is so orange and brassy. No manager available to discuss the issue and was told just use purple shampoo!! I included a picture of my hair from December before it was touched in Feb 2023 for comparison. Waiting to hear from a manager since one was not available, I was told I would hear from her when she returns Monday. When asked about charges cashiers legit answer was I don’t know. I asked was the $10 charge for long hair for me or my daughter…rudely replied I don’t know.
Updated: I added photos from the next day (today-sunday).
Updated: called Monday Feb 6th, was told Makeena(sp?) the manager was not at her desk and would call me when she got on. This was at 11:40am, when they opened at 11. 3 days on a row, no manager....
