I took the bottles off the counter, kindly told the younger associate that we wouldn’t be purchasing after all, and we proceeded to put them back where they belong. The older brunette behind the counter told me she didn’t need my business anyway. She knows why I changed my mind; she knows how she was treating the other two Hispanic patrons in the store. Hopefully this woman takes time to reflect and think that no matter how small, any purchase is beneficial to your business. The way you treat people always comes back to you. One picked the candy that she didn’t like - so we went back to see if we can replace it or refund the money. The male shop assistant said No - since it was opened. I asked to speak to the manager and he stated that he does not have a phone. I asked if they have a store policy and he still had no idea, stating he never had anything like this happen to him.
