Locals Modern Market — Local services in Longview

I don’t review often, but we were visiting from Louisiana and the lasting impression of how myself and my mother were treated has left a sour note. Not only weren’t we welcomed in, I was just stared at with rude blank faces by the two young women working when we walked in. I was the one to initiate a greeting…. “Hi, how are you?” It isn’t that hard lol…. in fact both girls didn’t ask to help and didn’t even thank me after the four items I purchased… I was just told “we don’t have bags” after I paid, and my items were slid across the counter. Very strange and catty behavior. I hope management can help their staff act like they care with basic manners (or maybe that’s home training but I digress). Cheers to the vendors in this store, there’s some fun stuff! Love what I got, not a fan of the two young ladies working today chatting it up with each other and too bothered to greet, offer help, or even a “have a nice day”. Better luck next time if we’re...

I love Locals Market for shopping and selling! It's a beautiful well thought out space. So much better than selling on Poshmark or another resale shop. They provide the hangers and tagging while you set your prices discounts and stage your own area. Every time I've shopped or sold the staff has been incredibly friendly and helpful. Bonus to selling here is It's fun to shop the other booths, the prices are amazingand theres so many interestingitems! I'm addicted to this place so happy Locals...

Love love love this store! Thrifting in Longview can be frustrating because you have to dig through so much to find something good.
