I could say your employeeās behavior to me was anti Asian! But did I do that? Maybe youāre racist against non Jews and especially Asians, but I never made that claim? This happened a long time ago but whenever I drive pass this business I am reminded of this terrible experience. As a result, I decided to write a review to quell my anxiety. Business reviews were not common back then and Iām not even sure if reviews existed on Google or Yelp, maybe not. Iām pretty sure cameras were not commonplace 2. This has nothing to do with race/religion, just wretched behavior from 1 employee who was female, tall, and slender. TAKE RESPONSIBILITY FOR YOUR EMPLOYEES INSTEAD OF USING THE RACE CARD! 3. Iāve gave Matt, the owner, so much business as he was nice to me and fair with the pricing, he even acknowledged how much I purchased from him at his shop when it was located directly on Wilshire Blvd, then he moved to Robertson (the northern part), then to the southern part of Robertson. I would have appreciated the owner telling his employee to not take my shoebox full of baseballcards to another area but that did not happen, and that is what I have a problem with! Original post: I went to see the owner to sell some baseball cards. I never had a problem with the owner but 1 of his employees. While the owner was looking at a few of my baseball cards to inspect the condition, his employee, a skinny tall Jewish woman, grabbed my shoebox of cards and took them to the other side of the store. i could not be at 2 different places at once, watching them with my baseball cards, so this made me feel INCREDIBLY ANXIOUS AND NERVOUS. I didn't think it was necessary for this employee to take my shoebox of cards somewhere else away from the owner. I know historically this is a strategy to divide the customer's attention to do something unscrupulous and bad. This was the only time i had a problem with this store but the owner should not allow and permit this to happen in his store. He's ultimately responsible for his employees! When i got home, i couldn't find a couple of my baseball cards but couldn't say definitively that it was stolen, so didn't say anything. I didn't know how to respond due to my naivete...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreWent in a while ago. My uncle suggested the place to me. He had met the owner at his work(my uncles job) I was absolutely blown away with all the memorabilia on the walls. The amount of singles in the cases. The absolute massive selection of sealed wax both new and old. The staff and owner were extremely knowledgeable about sports and cards. I was there for a while. A few families came in, the staff again was extremely good with the children and helpful to the parents. I bought two boxes n went back a week later to buy another. Each time they hooked me up with some sleeving supplies since I dropped a bit in there. I 100% would be in there right now instead of writing this review if they were open right now. I checked the hours n definitely needed to leave them some love. This is a must hit hobby shop if youāre a collector in the area. Or like myself Iām from Pacoima. Drove out here to check it out. I was looking for a gift for my boss for Christmas and I went in with an opened mind and some baseball teams that my boss and I have discussed in passing. The owner I believe, Matt was absolutely amazing. He asked me what my price point was and showed me just that. His knowledge of sports in unbelievable and the fact he knows exactly where all his inventory was, is amazing. He took the time and showed me options and asked me questions about my boss to get a better understanding of what he would like. In the end, I felt I got such an amazing gift and it was all to his help, knowledge, and great customer service. The staff there is very knowledgeable and will do custom work, which I ended up getting. I am extremely satisfied with my purchase and will continue to go there for all my sports...
