Zen Love Home — Hotel in Los Angeles

Bunk beds and dorm style living 4 bathrooms 3 with showers and from what I physically seen there's a few single bedroom rooms that run about 30 more per night or whatever deal you get i myself got the 3 Night for $55 promo and tbh that is a f** steal there's a kitchen with a fridge and stove and pots, pans, Tupperware, dishes and silverware the balcony is where everyone congergates there's a TV that's been supercharged and jailbroken so you can watch anything and I mean anything like in theatre's or just recently released... let's see the manager on site he's cool asf I seemed to click well with him we as a community drifting thru enjoy his company and his hospitality ( fyi i don't click or like many people )🤔 if you need a cool quite safe and for the most part clean and comfy place off the streets or to lay your head at for a night or two while you journey the country and find yourself the company here is cool everyone is Cali sober.... being 100% honest i was very skeptical of coming to a hostel never been but now im a huge fan of these type of places I'm kinda wanting to adventure out and see what others are like but the location is perfect for me is a 2 block drive or 10 minute walk to my sons house so that was convenient for me.. but it's 15 minute drive from 10 fwy and 20 minute drive to Hollywood and the walk of fame I'd say the zen love house is closer to Beverly hills border and mid city it's a very Jewish part of town but that shouldn't deter you 1. bc who gives a f 2. Predominantly the neighborhood and surrounding neighborhoods are all safe and non threatening and cvs and 2 gas stations are within 1 minutes in either direction from the hostel is i never wrote this much on a review but I support this place and think it's a good spot to rest your head and meet some cool interesting people and as far as I can tell the bed bug pandemic doesn't seem to be the case in the slightest here in fact the sheets snd bedding are clean and smelt fresh like recently done laundry and the towels they provide could be a little bit more bigger and softer but I'll give them a break im 6'2" so everything smaller to me 😉 oh god check out cazp3r or casper OG on Spotify or iTunes and give your unfriendly neighborhood ghost a follow and share if your vibeing with my uniquely beautiful but chaotic nightmare of art that you can sonicly thru the air waves and hear with the things on your head called ears that transmit those frequencies and waves of sound into your mainframe and infect your minds with my shitty Rap/NuMetal/alternative/ wtf is that sound kind of music 😉 👍 👎...

bad booking.com customer service, strong weed smell , dirty bed sheets. charged me twice and refused to refund me.

I was being charged twice for my stay and neither customer service nor the property host wanted to refund me . then when i went there i found that there is a strong weed smell there and i couldn't stay. so i asked to be refunded for the money I paid so i can go somewhere else. they refused to refund me . the place was really dirty with hair of people from before me on the bed and the smell of their sweat on the bed. very dirty and disgusting place. the smoke ashes are everywhere and the common area you can't sit anywhere without getting your clothes dirty or you have to clean it yourself. the bathroom was also dirty and wet . the shower didn't work and water was either too cold or too hot , nothing in between. looks like the place is lacking maintenance.

Not to mention booking.com had me wait for hours on the phone to process very simple things and they didn’t understand that the guest could be facing some bad experience and that they need to stand with the guest sometimes not just 100% be pro the host. I spent 3 hours on day 1 and 2 hours on day 2 and 2 hours on day 3 on the phone with them. With customer service that are hard to talk to and they take ages to process a smiple refund. Always wanting to start the process over again when they say they need to reach out to the host. And not wanting to take responsibility for the bad...

I never had to leave bad reviews but I had a really upsetting experience at Los Angeles Zen Home, and I feel it's important to share so others can be aware. First off it’s nothing like it looks. Next, on my second night there, I returned around 10 PM to find someone sleeping in the bed that was reserved for me. It felt like I had been checked out without any notice, even though I had paid for four nights. This was incredibly frustrating after a long day preparing for an interview I had the following morning.

I tried to find management to resolve the issue, but no one was available, even though they had been on-site until midnight the night before. Then as I was attempting to leave the building, I was assaulted by one of the tenants, which was terrifying. He insisted I stay in the building and physically chased me down the stairs, even following me on the street until I had to call 911. When I reached out to management over the phone, hoping for some understanding or a resolution, I was instead met with a rigid response. They kept referring to their "strict no refund policy" and showed no empathy for my situation. They even suggested transferring me to a different property or offering me a credit for a future stay, which felt completely inappropriate given what I had just experienced.

I truly felt like my safety and comfort didn't matter to them. I wouldn't want anyone else to go through what I did. Please, do yourself a favor and...
