The coffee here and furthermore the reviews on Google really over-rate this place, mis-leading you to believe it is a better coffee shop than it actually is in real life. The woman taking my order did not bother to even smile a little bit for the sake of pleasant customer service. Bad attitude. The prices are okay and could be better. The coffee was bland and boring, no special flavor to it. 😴 Maybe and only maybe a tiny bit fresher than some other places but that is the only nice thing I have to say about this place. Absolutely hate the whole hipstery-cooler-than-you-without-even-trying attitude they got going on about them. Very disappointed considering the Google reviews to be so high but for me they fell so short personally and were no higher than a 2-star experience. And on top of that, their coffee shop is too tiny and uncomfortable. There is really no place to sit and enjoy yourself. The Coffee Bean and Tea Leaf is WAY better. Their customer service is better and their coffees actually taste like BOMB compared to this bland old place. The people making and taking orders should fix their bad attitude and act like genuinely nice, normal people without all of the unpleasantness and their off-putting...
Read moreThis place is fantastic. The customer service is exceptional and engaging... and the coffee is delicious! The thing that makes this place stand out is that they have obviously built a COMMUNITY! You won't find this in any of the "Third Wave" coffee-snobatoriums here in LA. Outside of the great coffee and snacks, you'll find amazing local made goods: From custom greeting cards, to hand made candles, to local made hot sauce, the owners at Supa have built community by providing local entrepreneurs a market place for their products, and this sense of community gets passed on to everyone who walks in the door. On any given morning, you'll find the friendly staff and even the owners welcoming people in, and making them feel right a home. That barista making your latte may actually be the owner who has just as much passion for coffee as they do for the entrepreneurial strategy this shop has put in to motion. This place is small, but it really packs a punch, and I'll be back - again and again! Thanks, Supa, for making...
Read moreRead a few prior reviews. Sad to see folks who seem to have zero clue about local coffee shops. Both the cost of nearby shops, the types of coffee, or what some are known for. Also, what person in 2024 tells folks they need to smile? Yikes. Also, if anyone thinks Starbucks is better that’s typically a sign of someone who doesn’t truly drink coffee.
This is just one of many local coffee shops that I visit on a bi-weekly basis. The vibes are cool as is the awesome theme, a 90s millennial vibe. Their pastries are to die for, specifically their pop tarts. My fave drink has always been the Lil Kim Matcha Rose. Best one I’ve had outside of Boba Guys. Staff have always been chill. They now offer interior seating so added plus. Also dog friendly. Which is a BIG...
