Carvd Barbershop — Local services in Los Angeles

This is a wonderful place, and you're going to hear some wild stories. You'll see what I mean. Extremely easy to park and access -- very comfortable and clean interior.

One problem: there is a barber there (Gloria) who doesn't like tater tots. You can't miss her, she's the one always railing on about how tots don't belong in breakfast burritos. It's really uncool.

Despite the above, this place is good. Just bring your own tater tots and other good opinions.

Second barber in LA that has cut my hair way too short. I tried this place out for the first time and I tell them, “I’m growing my hair out so please just cut a little bit off the back. I still want it long so just a very small amount to even it out back there.” He proceeded to cut the entire back off. At least 3 inches gone in 5 minutes. It also looks like he used a chainsaw; very uneven. What I can’t understand is why barbers don’t simply cut less to be safe? We can always cut more off if needed, we can’t put hair back on.
