Admittedly, the enthusiasm might be from the combination of a brand-new facility, bright energetic staff, and grand opening pricing. Overall, this is strictly a DIY automated car wash, and in that category, it is one of the best. The place is super clean, the vacuums super powerful, staff are really nice and helpful.

If you're coming here expecting someone will ensure that the car is pre-soaked to loosen tree sap, or spend a bit more time on particularly tough residue on a specific area of the car, and will hand dry it after the blow dryer misses about 10% of the remaining water, then you'll be disappointed. The only one who works there to clean your car is you.

The cost of the unlimited plans is quite a bargain ($30/month) if you wash your car three or more times a month. The Catalina Speedwash is 5 minutes off the 101 freeway. I used to wash my car twice a month, but never likes how it looked that second week. It's now really easy to keep it clean all the time at a fraction of what it would have cost me for the "each wash" price.

A couple of things would be great from the customer's perspective, but may not be consistent with their business plan. It would be really nice to be able to rinse and wet the car down so that ground in dirt could pre-soak.

If this place gets as popular as I think it will, I'm a bit worried that the unlimited line will get quite long. So far my longest wait has been 65 seconds. I am not...

The free self-service vacuum has powerful suction, making interior cleanup a breeze. The staff is friendly, and the best part is no waiting—the wash is super fast. Their Unlimited Wash Club membership is also very appealing for frequent washers, with great value for money. The only small suggestion is to bring your own chamois towel for drying, as the car comes out wet and you’ll need to wipe it down yourself. A special shoutout to Mario, one of the staff members, who went above and beyond to help me. I recently got a new car (a Tesla) and had just received my new license plate. On a very hot day, Mario personally helped me install the plate, taking the time to make sure it was done perfectly. He was incredibly friendly, patient, and professional throughout.
