The venue coordinator, Britta, is very unprofessional, rude, and lacks communication skills. ————————— The Details: During our wedding process, we had asked Britta multiple times about Covid requirements. Every time we asked, she never gave us clear, upfront answers. This made us very anxious because we wanted to be sensitive to the situation. One month before our wedding date (at the END of our final walkthrough), Britta told us that our guest list of 140 people needed to be fully vaccinated. Normally this would have been fine, however, we had 4 weeks to get everyone fully vaccinated. I’m sure everyone knows at this point, but fully vaccinated means two weeks AFTER your second dose. And you need to have at least 21 days between your first and second dose. So if you do the math, that is not enough time for everyone to be fully vaccinated. We pleaded for negative Covid tests instead, to which we were told “the owners don’t want to deal with it.” This obviously created a huge issue. We had no idea who in our guest list was partially, fully, or unvaccinated because this was the first time we had heard anything about Covid requirements. We also had vendors who were unvaccinated, so we had to cancel them as they wouldn’t have been allowed in the building. Two weeks after telling us this information, Britta informed me that they had made a mistake and that unvaccinated WOULD be allowed in the building with a negative Covid test. We couldn’t get our vendors back on such short notice. At this point, I was so frustrated with the way Britta handled things, I just wanted my money back and to forget the whole thing. She informed me that “Crafted will just keep your money.” Crafted has been very insensitive and unhelpful in this situation. It’s been a month and they still haven’t responded, or resolved this issue with me. They ruined what is supposed to be the best time of someone’s life. Do yourself a favor and SKIP THIS...

Today, three of us did a candle-making class at with Monica from Kona Girl. What a great time! She's a great teacher, was prepared for us well in advance, and went above and beyond. She is very knowledgeable about the candle making process and takes care and pride getting the highest quality components. All three of us stopped and bought candles from her store and we are so excited to find new and exciting scents! We learned a lot about candle fragrance, wax and the process of making in general. We definitely would love to take her class again. A perfect idea to celebrate someone's birthday or a reason to get together if you haven't seen each other in a while or just because you need a creative moment. We would highly encourage anyone who has an interest in learning to do something new to take this class. We've scoped out other candle making classes and Kona Girl classes were definitely the best value with free parking and two slots of time to choose from.
