The Muller house is a hidden gem in The town of San Pedro, or Pedro, as the locals call it. It is listed as a historical site. It's built Victorian style, inside and out, with a great view of the port and the Pacific. The ladies who run the house are members of the historic society and are loads of fun to talk to. There is also a little give shop with great deals. You never know what you will find there. From figurines to framed paintings and the like, with some old timey toys. There is a small, some what awkward parking lot, to the east of the house, but there is street parking. If you are into port history, or just history, check it out. Read moreWhat a great historic home tour! Keep in mind, they are only open the 1st & 2nd Sunday of the month and for 2 home tours only per day. We took the 1st tour which started at 1pm sharp for a $5 donation per person. The home is perched on a hill over looking the beautiful views of the SP Harbor. The docent was friendly, knowledgeable, and filled with lots of interesting details & stories about the house's history as well as San Pedro and neighboring cities. Read moreThis was such a nice little historic house museum! Such a pleasant surprise. We're visiting the area and had just gone to the Maritime Museum before this. We noticed the banner as we walked by. The guided tour helped us contextualize the history of the area. It was a great experience. The three docents were knowledgeable and answered all our questions. Their appreciation for the building added to the experience. The house had some really cool stuff inside.
