I really wanted to love and support this shop so much, but was unfortunately very disappointed by my first visit.. I should've turned away the moment I walked in honestly. The moment I walk in the store, another customer comes in too and the florist/owner(?) panics and apologizes to the man that she didn't start on his order yet. I was helped by the florist's friend while the florist worked on the bouquet. We waited a while, but I was determined to leave with an orchid. They had 6 very large, beautiful, white moth orchids for $28 each, but most of them had unhealthy roots and leaves. I chose my favorite one, but realized all of the orchids were in the same planter and they couldn't stand on their own because they all just had an open sleeve holding the roots together. I'm sure we were both thinking, out of all the flowers/plants, why did I have to pick the one without anything to hold it in? But also, why wouldn't a plant come in it's own little home, even if it's temporary?? After finishing the man's order, the florist helped me search for a spare pot and found a used one on the floor. It was $15 which was steep for a small used pot imho, but I was desperate and had to walk a while more after this to do more errands. But once I went home, something in me told me to check the bottom of the pot and there was a price tag listing it for $5.98!! I was duped lol. I understand that prices change, but selling me a very basic, dirty pot for almost 3 times more than the original price?? I wish I saw all of the signs when it happened, but I was blind. And on another note, she sprayed some gnarly chemically leaf shining spray onto the leaves without asking me first!! So be careful.. Also, they have a card fee of $5 (or 10%), so if you can, pay in cash. Lesson learned, speak up if you think something's not right, always trust your instincts, and look at the signs that tell you to turn back around, otherwise it might...
