Nice store with a good selection and fair prices, but a disappointing customer service experience.

Today, we visited the Woodland Hills location to purchase a dining table with chairs and bar stools. The store itself has a great selection at reasonable prices, but unfortunately, our experience with the sales associate, Pamela, left us extremely disappointed.

I like to check product details online to compare options, view dimensions, color choices, and availability. When I asked Pamela for information on a specific product, she had to repeatedly walk back to her desk to look things up, which was inefficient. To speed up the process, I pulled up the store’s website on my phone and checked myself. From that moment on, she seemed visibly irritated and almost offended that I was checking the website myself rather than relying solely on her.

She kept insisting that the online information might not be accurate and that we should not trust it, yet she herself used the same website to show us items that weren’t on display. It felt contradictory—why was it acceptable for her to use the website, but not for us? At no point did we even mention ordering online, yet she kept emphasizing that she wouldn’t be responsible for any issues if we purchased through the website rather than in-store.

What made the experience worse was her attitude. At one point, she even told us we were “free to go outside” if we wanted to check the website, essentially showing us the door. It was incredibly unprofessional and disrespectful.

I understand that sales associates work on commission and want to close in-store sales, but being confrontational with customers who simply want to gather information is not the way to do it. We were prepared to make a purchase that day, but Pamela’s behavior completely changed our minds.

If it weren’t for this poor customer service experience, this would have been a five-star visit. I hope the store management takes note and improves their approach to customer...

We ordered a coffee and side table that was just above the free shipping minimum. We signed the shipping form that was sent to us and got radio silence for a while. We reached out again and they stated they were trying to find a vendor to ship it. We live in a larger city in Virginia that gets two day Amazon delivery. It’s completely preposterous that they were struggling to find a shipping vendor. Another week of radio silence goes by and we reach out again. They state that they let us know they had cancelled our order some days ago, claiming we were notified (we were not) because they could not find a shipping vendor. An utterly ridiculous lie. We had bought our items during the Labor Day sales and now other vendors no longer had markdowns on the items. We tried to order from a different vendor (without the sale savings now) and now the item is out of stock everywhere. I reached out to let them know our frustration and they offered zero satisfactory resolutions and completely shirked their responsibility, repeating the same ridiculous lie about not being able find someone to ship these particular items to a large city in the US. My theory is that the shipping was more expensive than they were willing to eat and so they just kicked the order around until they had to eventually cancel. Beyond unprofessional. We are furnishing a new home and I will never patronize...

Delivery was prompt and seamless, with their team ensuring everything was set up perfectly before leaving. I’ve received countless compliments on my new furniture, and I can’t them enough. If you’re looking for high-quality furniture and exceptional service, this is the place to go!
