My first visit here was great, they had everything set up very safe regarding the social distancing and all that. I got the California Chicken Salad and it was really good and fresh. The entire salad was delicious, but the feta cheese and white meat chicken was truly delectable. Their chicken wraps are also really tasty as well. Even though I got takeout it was still right off the grill and the chicken was nice and hot. I think that most everyone in the SF Valley has stopped by one of the CCC locations, and the Woodland Hills one seems to be outstanding. The team members also have such a great work ethic and professionalism, it shows they are aiming to provide terrific service. They were all smiles and offering assistance with all needs. I noticed this location does get very busy during lunch, but the line moves even faster so it is all good, the food is just fresher. They offer plenty of healthy options as well, which is a major plus. Being off of Ventura you'd assume the parking would be a headache, but they have a nice spacious lot which is currently being used for the pull-up orders during the CA lockdowns. I ordered through GrubHub, and I had a few questions about the process, and Varteny was so helpful and went way above and beyond in assisting me with how to use the ordering systems. I have no complaints at all, everything was great and tasted amazing, I give a solid 5 stars and encourage all others to visit this place when in...
Read moreWhat corporate decision-maker at CCC decided to close the dining room and make all orders to go with only patio dining? That's all fine & dandy for places that have moderate outside temps, but extremely stupid for the few CCC's in the San Fernando Valley where temps hit 110+ in peak summer. For example, it's currently 96 degrees in Woodland Hills with high humidity. Even in the shade, it's sickening to be outside. Why would any customer want to suffer in this heat when there's so many eateries offering dine-in and better food for the same price point?
I understand the dining room being closed during COVID restrictions, but we're over a year past that! It's obvious that this company is very left-leaning and part of the fear-mongering COVID crowd by refusing to open dining rooms, especially in areas with temperature extremes. My friends & I have been going to CCC since the late 90's, and due to their dining policies, CCC has lost several lifetime customers. It will not be surprising if they continue to bleed red and lose more customers. I predict that unless they change, CCC will close down locations or...
Read moreIf you have food allergies DO NOT GO HERE. Im allergic to dairy, I asked if the Italian dressing had any dairy, the server wasn't sure, so she asked the owner (not the 1st time, most servers seem not know which is also surprising because I worked at Outback Steakhouse & we were trained to know everything in all the food they serve.) So owner (who was running around, also serving) comes up hastily, said he doesn't know what the ingredients are in his food, said they don't deal with ppl w food allergies, & he literally told me he'd have to look it up & email it to me --- yeah --- as i stood there in line to order food to eat right then, not tomorrow, then. Plus he was rude (A, & B) was obviously scared to be held liable. Well then DON'T OPEN A RESTAURANT. Discrimination is discrimination no matter the form. You are a horrible business owner!!! Shame!!! Remember that if someone has a severe allergy close to you! Or anything & they're...
