Rebound Consignment Furniture — Local services in Los Angeles

I didn’t realize they were a shop when I saw their offer on craigslist. No way did I try to lowball but I did ask for a discount. the email response I got back was short and flat. Once I realized they were consignment/thrift store shop I decided to Google to make sure they were legit before I drove up there because even though they were flat and unfriendly I have been searching for this item for a while on offer up and craigslist. When I got there after a 3 1/2 hour drive coming from San Diego The shop was just as I imagined it looked just like a thrift store an overpriced thrift store. The item I purchased was OK I mean you really can’t mess up a restoration hardware piece of wood furniture but it did have a lot of scuffs and I didn’t anticipate paying tax on a craigslist item . But I have to say they were extremely overpriced on most of the items considering they were all thrift...

This furniture store believes that because they are selling furniture for individuals on consignment, that somehow makes them not a furniture store, despite being a business called Rebound Furniture. They constantly spam the owner section of the online classifieds, posting multiple items over and over again completely ignoring any of the Terms of Service of the posting site. If they want to lie to customers from the get-go, what else are they doing that's shady?

EDIT: So because you say you're not spamming, yet to continue to do exactly that, a business posting as as a private seller, it's not spamming? Irony. That's exactly what it is, and it needs to stop. This review is a long time coming. I have been filling my home with their gorgeous pieces for about nine years. I absolutely love Jeanne. She is so incredibly kind, personable, helpful and really has an eye for style. All the employees are wonderful. I don’t know who does their picking and choosing of items, but everything literally looks brand new and they’re expensive brands. They also have someone that works upstairs that will reupholster anything that you like. They have people that will move your items for you and deliver them and they have new stuff coming in literally every day. I pop in there on the weekends as part of my weekend rituals and I always see new stuff.
