Juicy Ladies — Restaurant in Los Angeles

A part of my neighborhood, I've eaten at Juicy Ladies, Woodland Hills many times throuout the years. The atmosphere is one of a big living room, which is welcoming & fabulous. The food is generally tasty, BUT everything is expensive to the point of unfairness. Today, 8/10/23 is the second time recently I ordered their $17.08 "Avocado/ Bacon Wrap." A few days ago, I left a complaint for the manager that the Onions were in such huge chunks & so abundant that it was like an acidy Onion Sandwich. Furthermore, there was les than 1/16 of a small Avocado sparingly on the sandwhich.

Today I again mentioned the complaint, & specified that I want the sandwich on Ezekial Bread (They list that as a no extra charge choice), with the Onions sliced thinly & a reasonable amount of Avocado. The sandwich came as a wrap, despite that it was specified on my receipt, BREAD, so I pointed it out to the waitress who returned with the corrected order.

I have a picture here of the sandwich to show that the amount of Avocado slithered on the bread was two slivers, the width of a Dime & the length of a Quarter. The Onions again were piled on in wide, chunky, big pieces. I asked for a manager to inquire if this is the amount of Avocado that they have in place to go on this $17.00 sandwich? It's not the quality or freshness that's the issue, but the stinginess of an ingredient for the price paid.

She explained that the recipe is always the same. IF it is, I will simply not order this item again. It seems that one is being cheated to pay $17.00 for an Avocado Sandwich when there is almost NO Avocado to be seen. No it was not spread on the toast either. Granted, the restaurant is entitled to charge any amount, no matter how expensive for a sandwich, as long as that is their standardized recipe. Then it becomes my decision of whether to patronise this place. I have no problem spending a LOT if the ingredients are adequately aportioned for the price, and the food tastes good. You can see from the pictured bill, I spent over $80.00 for several items, and this has always been the case at Juicy Ladies.

A short while later, the waitress emerged with about 5 thin slices of Avocado fanned out. She explained that they were were "giving it to me this time, but next time I will have to pay extra money if additional Avocado is desired." Apparently the owner is on vacation, but I would appreciate a response on this question upon your return. Given an AVERAGE or medium sized Avocado, what fraction of that Avocado does your Juicy Lady Location INTEND TO APPLY on your $17.00 Avocado Wrap? Less than 1/16? , 1/16?, 1/8?, 1/4,...

Yesterday I visited this coffee shop for the first time, hoping to enjoy a cup of tea and a slice of fresh cake. Unfortunately, my experience was marred by disappointment and frustration. When I brought to the server's attention that the cake did not taste fresh, I was met with unhelpful and dismissive responses.

Despite politely expressing my concern, the server denied that the cake was not fresh and offered no resolution or apology. This lack of accountability and customer service left me feeling unheard and dissatisfied with my overall experience.

It is disappointing to encounter such a dismissive attitude, especially when providing feedback in a respectful manner. As a customer, I value transparency and honesty, and I hope that the coffee shop can work on improving their communication and addressing customer concerns more effectively in the future.

While the ambiance of the coffee shop was pleasant, the experience was overshadowed by the unhelpful response from the server. Absolutely wonderful establishment. Such a cute interior. It’s definitely the type of environment that you could go and have a nice conversation with a friend or do some reading. It’s very welcoming and zen I guess for lack of a better word. The food is spectacular! Let’s just say when I came I wasn’t very hungry and yet I found room in my stomach to gobble down an entire tofu scramble burrito! Which if I may say so myself is absolutely amazing!!!! One of the most amazing vegan burritos I’ve ever had. I will definitely be coming back for another. It was so good that my very carnivorous boyfriend loved it as well. I as well got the berry smoothie and it was so delicious! I’d be lying if I said it took me 10 minutes to drink. I literally gulped it down in .002 seconds.
