What a sensational evening last night at the Walt Disney Concert Hall with the Los Angeles Philharmonic! Words hardly seem sufficient to capture the magic and grandeur of the experience. From the moment you step into the iconic Frank Gehry-designed hall, you're enveloped in a world of architectural wonder and artistic brilliance.
The LA Philharmonic delivered an extraordinary performance. Each note was infused with passion and precision, creating a harmonious tapestry that stirred the soul.
But it wasn't just the music that captivated usâthe synergy between the musicians and the breathtaking surroundings of the Disney Concert Hall. The acoustics were impeccable, allowing every nuance of sound to be heard with crystal clarity. With its undulating stainless-steel curves and sweeping lines, the hall itself served as the perfect backdrop for the evening's performance.
As someone who isn't religious or spiritual, I often seek moments of transcendence in unexpected places. And I must confess, listening to the Los Angeles Philharmonic at the Disney Concert Hall is one of those rare experiences that comes closest to touching something divine within me. I feel a profound connectionâto the music, the musicians, and something greater than myself. It's as if, for those fleeting moments, I'm transported to a realm where time stands still, and the world's worries melt away.
So yes, while I may not be religious or spiritual in the traditional sense, I find solace and inspiration in the melodies and harmonies filling the concert hall. And for me, that's as close to a spiritual experience as I'll ever need.
The LA Philharmonic and the Disney Concert Hall are shining examples of artistic excellence in a city known for its creativity and innovation. If you ever can attend a performance, seize it without hesitation. You'll be treated to an unforgettable evening of music and magic that will stay with you long...
Read moreReally wonderful, not sure if there is a bad seat! Always look for promo codes before buying, you can get amazing seats for like $20. Parking in their lot is only $10 (it's around the corner from the front of building). Drinks are steep (like $16) but not awful considering venue, you can't bring them to the seats so chug before entry. Employees are very nice. Although last time we were there the police were trying to catch a patron and then they went in and out the doors CONSTANTLY during the performance without arresting him (the guy came back after intermission!). We could hear them talking and their radios blaring as they kept an eye on him, always switching people. According to an employee they were arresting him because he went in after the doors closed at the start. Which if so, goddam taking that no entry thing seriously! Regardless, handle that at intermission! And DEFINITELY DONT RUIN THE PERFORMANCE FOR EVERYONE ELSE!! The cops and security supposedly arrested him for doing exactly what the cops and...

I tried to purchase Sigur Ros tickets and the website crashed on 4 different devices and my friends all had similar stories. It's a real shame. Now I'm sitting at home watching it on YouTube looking at folks who all bought scalped tickets at 5x the price. It's a damn shame A. Your site is awful, and B. I'm not rich. Otherwise...
