Kary, Tae and Karla is the MOST amazing team. We had the pleasure of shooting our engagement shoot with Tae and we absolutely loved how our photos turned out. We thought that we’d be uncomfortable or awkward in front of a camera but Tae absolutely made the shoot so natural and fun. It was hard to imagine that we’d have a better experience than we already did. But fast forward to our wedding day and Kary and Karla just did the most amazing job and brought an energy and purpose that really made our day come together and flow perfectly. Both ladies hustled the entire day, directing us and coming up with unique shots all the while keeping us on schedule. Karla would be running around checking on us, grabbing missing props like my bouquet while Kary would be shooting us all in sync with our videographer so that no shot was missed (and the Karla would also start snapping pictures). Karla and Kary worked super hard in capturing candid moments as we went around socializing with guests and dancing in the wedding but they had us hit every epic posed shot that is possible. We didn’t waste a single second of our wedding day. We just got a sneak peek of our photos and my husband and I were absolutely floored by the final results (and we’re hard to please). We can’t wait to see the rest of our photos but hands down, The Times We Have is one of the best decisions of our entire wedding experience. Perfection! The TImes We Have was such a pleasure to work with! From our initial phone conversation to our final photos, Tae was extremely professional, courteous, personable, and down to earth. We met many awkward, stiff, and odd photographers. Tae: by far felt like we had met an old friend! We had a lovely engagement shoot in El Valle de Guadalupe and wedding day a few months later. (We recommend getting both if you can swing it. It really helps set the relationship and makes it more comfortable during the wedding). We had a challenging task to capture photos of our crazy Egyptian & Mexican union to leave us with memories of the night. The Mariachi, the service, the reception, the belly dancing, tabla drummer, and LOTS of dancing. The Timeswas able to understand the labyrinth of different cultures and families and knew all the right questions to ask. Also The TImes is fluent in English and Spanish. This really helped with the families on the wedding night. Tae was able to perfectly capture the moods of the night: the celebration, the intimacy, the tears, the laughter, the love... He was amusingly both invisible and visible during. At times we forgot he was there, and then later, when the time was right, or there was a perfect moment he would connect to capture angles, lighting, moments. We are SO happy with the result. Perfection. Working w Tae for our engagement and wedding photos couldn’t have been a better decision. First off, organization-wise he is perfect. We had zero issues with scheduling or planning— this is from our first consultation zoom call until the last moment of our wedding. Everything was absolutely perfect. Second, vibe— Tae photographed for our wedding day and we really couldn’t possibly say enough good things about working with him. He was an extremely calming presence to the day and seamlessly blended in to be able with our guests to take excellent photos “in the moment”. We have a young niece and nephew, as well as a dog babe and he was able to take great pictures of all three kids. Photos- The photos turned out GORGEOUS. My hope was that by having a wedding photographer we could have maybe a small handful of photos of the two of us would could be happy with for years to come. What we ended up with is DOZENS AND DOZENS of photos that we ABSOLUTELY love of just the two of us, as well as countless others including family and friends. The final product has exceeded our wildest expectations. Summary- we had an extremely low key wedding, but it’s still true what they say— the day feels like it goes by in an instant.
