Ive been coming here for years for their amazing chorizo but today when my mother came in the cashier was so rude! When my mother finished her transaction she said bye and thank you in Spanish to the cashier however the cashier yelled at her and said she was so rude for not having manners and saying thank you after servicing her. My mom thought she didn't hear her through the plastic divider so she said thank you again and the cashier continued to be rude and say mean things to my mother in Spanish. My mom got upset and left after saying thank you again. I don't think we will ever come back here again after such a rude interaction. I'm not sure what was going on the with lady at the cashier today but she has never treated us this way and she seemed mad! She also charged us for 2 bags when we only got 1. I don't know if this was the owner because this woman is always there but if she is, what a horrible woman. As a fellow Oaxacan I am appalled and will tell my friends and family to never shop here again. There are other wonderful Oaxacan businesses in the area that can use the recognition. The young Lady working at this store stole my credit card pin and info by angling their handheld credit card machine towards a camera up on the ceiling while I typed my pin. I watched her do it and looked over my shoulder to see the camera angleD right at the pin PAD. but, unfortunately, it was after I had already typed my pin in her hand held machine.. 5 days later and with 3 withdrawals $700 was pulled out of an ATM on Olympic blvd. Has anyone else had this happen to them at this store?? Police are coming for your GYPSY hustle. Time and time again my partner and I had come here to pick up a few things but it is not worth the experience. The prices are way over priced and some of their produce looks old at times. The woman who works the cash register always has a nasty and disrespectful attitude with a bad stare. Don't waste your time...
