Las Cazuelas Restaurant & Pupuseria — Restaurant in Los Angeles

Not happy I placed an order by phone when I got ther there, There where plenty of seat to sat and eat but was not allowed to sit on them only because I place an ordered by phone so other costumers won't complain that I was not next, It doesn't really matter because the minute the waiter ask me to sit down and because the table is served an other waiting costumer can still complain that we just got there and we were not next If I just got in the restaurant and where not allowed to sit, It make you feel worthless to this restaurant, Will never order food by phone ever again it make me very angry almost to walk out and never come back again it makes no sense to have empty restaurant table's and being told your not worthy of those table's if you want them you have to sit by the entrance of the restaurant single chairs by the side of the walk way you can help but to feel negative to have made a reservation and now I'm the recipient this stupid rule it make me angry and I left feeling very negative And distrut, olso was not offered salsa and chips I ask why was told you place the order by phone you get nothing, men you got no costumer hospitality that most restaurants have this common practice in most restaurants exept for this one i gust this...

Las Cazuelas: A Highland Park Gem!

Las Cazuelas isn't just a restaurant, it's a Highland Park staple! You can feel the history here, and it's clear they're a beloved part of the community. The staff is amazing - they work incredibly hard to keep up with the fast pace, but they're always friendly and attentive.

Now, onto the food! I dove headfirst into some cheesy goodness with their queso con loroco. It stretched like a dream, and the flavor was on point. Sticking with the Salvadoran theme, I tried the pupusa revuelta - delicious!

For my main course, I went with the pan con pollo. Let me tell you, they don't skimp on the chicken! It was perfectly marinated and juicy, bursting with flavor in every bite. No Salvadoran meal is complete without chicharron and fried yucca, and Las Cazuelas absolutely delivered. Crispy, salty goodness!

To wash it all down, I had a michelada - the perfect refreshing sidekick to a fantastic meal.

I’ve always enjoyed coming here to eat but not after today , I had left my phone there today I know I had left it on the table where I was eating shortly after I was leaving the restaurant I went back to go get it but it wasn’t there any more so I asked one of the waiters that if they seen a phone there by any chance, they denied it about 2-3x even after they had cleaned our table already, there happened to be a cop there so I mentioned it to the cop just because I knew forsure I had left it there, he went inside with me to see & what a coincidence that the waiter started to ask me questions about how my phone looked & I told her the details & after that she opens her drawer & takes out MY PHONE that I knew was there the whole time. What a shame I would never think the workers they have working there would do anything like that , like I mentioned before I would always love going there to eat because everyone’s nice about everything but clearly I was wrong.
