Costanso Fire Station 84 Park — Attraction in Los Angeles

One of the better or safer parks if you have young ones. Completely fenced in to where you could take nap (not recommended) and unless your 3 year old is able to charm their way to be set free by another adult, they ain't going anywhere. It is also dog friendly as long as it's on a leash. Really the only reason I gave it 4 stars instead of 5 is there is a gate code to get in that isn't posted anywhere. Hopefully you can sweet talk one of the cool kids inside that you are cool to play with or have better eyes than me to find the code, you ain't getting in if no one is inside it already. Which makes me wonder how did the first people get...

Best spot ever to take your kids. The park is fenced you wouldn't have to worry about your kid while he disappears behind the slides. The parents are social and of good behavior. I haven't seen any drama there for years. Everyone is well rounded. The park is clean, monitored by CCTV. The fence is 12 ft high. Shaded from the midday sun and floored with park foam to reduce injury. Water is on site but not recommended. Gas station around the corner for access to water bottles and snacks. Doesnt have a bathroom so stock up on diapers...

Great park for kids!! The grass needs to be watered a bit more and the gopher holes make a bit of a walking hazard but the park is amazing. Does not have a sand area so no sand toys needed, but bring plenty of chalk as the kids can write on the floor. It’s gated in and only one way in and one way out. No restrooms but a store is a nearby. There is also a chevron for snacks right next to it. No trash on the grounds either which is nice so please be sure to throw your trash away....
