Mazar Mediterranean Restaurant / lounge — Restaurant in Los Angeles

Very Dissapointed at customer service! They forget they are in the hospitality Business!

The food is good, we were regular customers. Spent way too much money there and was friendly with the owners and employees.

During covid there was a week that they had to bring the food to the curb because you couldn't go inside. I ordered and within 5 min called then to let them know I was outside waiting. I waited for 20 more minutes and finally called again. They said the food has been ready for a while and they didn't know I was there. They brought it out and when I opened the food it was cold, I told the guy and his only response was that he could take the food back and credit us.

I was surprised they offered nothing to cover their mistake. I've worked in restaurants for years. If the restaurant makes a customer wait 20 extra min because of the restaurants mistake and then the food is cold the hospitable thing to do is completely the meal or comp something. I mentioned thIs and that it was a weak way to treat a loyal customer he unapologetically said it was company policy.

Came here 3 nights in a row, I can only comment on service and hookah. The waitresses definitely treat you well depending how generous your tip is, first night my husband did not fill out the tip section (unintentionally). Next day we show up and the waitress treated us very different. It’s fine but I mean at least common courtesy Geese!!. Aside from that the thin gentlemen with a beanie that prepares the hookah definitely has a passion for what he does and it shows, he has excellent customer service and won’t leave your table unless you are completely satisfied with the taste in your hookah. This spot was super chill and they were open late so we decided to go in and hang out and eat some good food. The food that came out was super good. I got the grilled garlic chicken with the kebab and rice. You can’t go wrong with the garlic paste and bread. The lighting is low and this hookah lounge has good service.
