Rob/A-Ko was everything we could've hoped for to DJ our wedding. My wife (hooray!) left me in charge of music for many reasons, chief among them being that I LOVE the music I listen to. Don't we all? Maybe I'm a bit more finicky/I will ERASE you if you play the Chili Peppers. Anyhow I wanted someone, of course, that would jibe with my musical tastes, implement a few special requests, and work with us to set the tone we desired. We were thrilled with the results!

I looked high and low for something in a DJ that jumped out and found it in Rob's love of guitars that he mentions on his website profile. I knew right away after an intro call that he was a good fit and once we met in person our decision was easily made. Rob provided us with helpful direction leading up to the wedding, going through all the particulars of the formal songs, the various segments of the ceremony and reception, some dos and don'ts, etc. I created some playlists and he seamlessly folded in our tracks throughout the night, eliciting countless smiles and nods of recognition from those who knew the more personal songs.

Where Rob really kicked ass was editing a song for me. I wanted the wedding party to walk in and have their introductions through a live version of a GNR song with less-than-wedding-appropriate lyrics. He cut out the naughty bits which made for a brilliant and fun entrance.

Rob did an excellent job start to finish and we got tons of compliments. I've been asked to recreate our playlist (we he provided) and send it to some guests. Man, looking back on it makes me smile. :) Assuming music is important to your event, DO NOT hesitate to lock Rob in if...

We had the pleasure of working with Jonathan (JCR) for our wedding. We took this decision very seriously as this was such an important element of our wedding. We wanted it to be a PARTY, and it ended up exceeding our expectations thanks to Jonathan as our DJ!

This was our second time seeing Jonathan in action as he also DJ’d our good friend’s wedding. We were so impressed and thought of him when we were planning our own wedding. We talked to several DJ’s and nobody came close. He is experienced, professional, and just brings a great vibe. It definitely felt like we clicked with him from the beginning. We ended up having to postpone our wedding and he made the date switch process so seamless.

We were one of those Type A couples that took our wedding playlist(s) very seriously, but our playlists covered soooo many different genres in both English and Spanish. Jonathan mixed everything so flawlessly. It was clear that he really listened to what we wanted from start to finish. The dance floor was never empty and he was so great at reading the room throughout the night. Everybody had the best time!

Lastly, it was really important for us to have a bilingual DJ for our wedding as we had so many Spanish-speaking guests. Jonathan flawlessly went back and forth in both languages throughout the night. It was exactly what we had envisioned.

It has been a little over three months since our wedding and our guests still rave about the awesome music and the great time that they had. This was in large part thanks to our awesome DJ! We are so grateful for Jonathan and cannot recommend him and...

We had the pleasure of booking JCR from RedShoe as our wedding DJ and we are so glad that we did! From the get go, we had venue issues and JCR was very flexible and was able to accomodate things changing. And about a month before our actual wedding, we had a meeting with JCR to discuss our musical preferences and he was very methodical and punctilious that we knew our musical selections were in good hands.

During the actual wedding reception, JCR was an amazing MC!! He enunciated our wedding party's names well and made well timed announcements throughout the night. He was not overbearing and was the ultimate professional: He dressed professionally for our wedding motif, acted professional throughout the night, and performed his duties to the utmost professional level.

As for the music, he killed it with the songs!! The music selections were on point and you could tell that he really listened to us. He played the music that we specifically requested and was constantly in contact with us and our wedding planner during the event. He kept everything on schedule and made smooth transitions within our timeline. At the end of the night, he ended our reception exactly the way we had requested. And while I've already mentioned his professionality, he was also very personal to our feelings and attentive to our feedback. We felt confident in him throughout the night.

All in all, JCR exceeded our expectations and we cannot recommend him and RedShoe enough. Communicating with them was so smooth as well. It was an absolute pleasure working with JCR...
