El Atacor#1 — Restaurant in Los Angeles

Great popular local spot to stop in a grab a casual, and very tasty, bite. Be aware, however, it is cash only! We went on a Saturday during a lunch rush and were served within about 10- minutes. They also had plenty of booth seating which was nice. The birria plate was incredibly delicious. If you’re not sure what to get I would just order that. It’s tender braised beef on the bone with sides of refried beans (also very tasty), rice, and corn tortillas to make your own taco. It also came with a side of salsa, lime, cilantro and pickled veggies. You can get guac and extra salsa in 1oz containers for .50c extra. The chicken quesadilla was also very good and was filled with marinated shredded chicken, cheese, crema, lettuce and tomato. They do not hold back on portions and the prices are very reasonable. If nothing else convinces you, they have arcade games as well if you need some entertainment...

The carne asada tacos and the nachos are quite tasty but the horchata water is much too sweet. The staff is also very friendly and helpful but I don't like the fact that every time you buy a big order of nachos they give you a different price and they serve you only half of the container. When I reviewed this restaurant three years ago they used to serve you the full container in spite of the fact that they always gave you a different price when you ordered them. Nowadays if you want them to give you the whole container you have to buy the small one. Back then it didn't matter whether you bought the big container or the small one because they always gave you the correct amount of food. But I cannot deny the fact that I would love to tast the super burrito and the flan. I hope that I can do...

I love this place, I grew up just a block from here and would always come and eat when I had a little money. The meat nachos are amazing, the asada fries are just as good, and the horchata here is the perfect blend not too sweet, not too light. They have Marvel vs. capcom and a pinball machine along with a few other games. Portions here are big, and prices are fair. I now live out of state but make it a priority to visit here every time I visit. Update visiting again one year later, and still all is good like always, we had a super burrito, and it was huge and tasty only 15 bucks. Cash only as of...
