Danny and Shannon are AMAZING!!!!!!!! They blew me away with their kindness and eagerness to help! I had a project that required a bit more attention to detail (an edible container garden as a gift to a sick family member since I live long distance). I emailed ten different nurseries in the area and got no other responses. Not only did Danny respond but he and Shannon worked with me back and forth on different options and suggested ones that were more affordable instead of trying to upsell. They suggested adding pretty flowers around the tomato plants to attract bees and to make pretty! These guys are doing business right!! Please support their business. Read moreCame here one or two years ago to buy a snake plant, some man (possibly the owner, I'm not sure, he was Caucasian) raised his voice at me to put on my mask (which I did), I guess asking with respect was out of the question. The rest of the staff seemed polite and did their job. Update: The person I was with and me believe that it had very little to do with COVID, especially since no one else was around us: we believe it was discrimination and a power move, due to him possibly being intimidated by me. Read moreCombined Topanga Nursery and The Valley Hive. The Valley Hive sells everything for backyard Beekeepers. Inside the main building (a very old repurposed house) there is honey for tasting and a real live hive with glass cover so you can watch bees making honey.
The Nursery is packed with the best looking plants. Also many larger plants. I’m assuming they have a lot of commercial plant buyers.
