First thing you notice is the B in the window. That's not always terrible in L.A. so I gave it a try because I work in the area and always see firemen and cops eating there on break. So it should be great right? Well.... I walked in after noon. Place was very empty. Walked to the counter no one was up front. About 2 minutes and someone walks up to me behind the register. No greeting. Just a - are you ready to order? So I ordered a sandwich combo with a drink and mac n cheese on the side. The guy was super uninterested in taking my order. Made me feel like I was bothering him. The food took a long time to arrive. The sandwich was dry and small. Cut in half so it looked like I ordered 2 sliders. The mac n cheese was served in a little plastic cup. Was oily. Burnt. And absolutely flavorless. Couldn't taste any kind of cheese. It was basically boiled pasta then baked in the oven with some flavorless yellow cheese on top. It was SO oily. When I left I said thank you to the guy upfront and waved goodbye. He looked at me and said nothing. The fountain drink was good. And the bathroom was clean. For those 2 things they get 2 stars.
