Ordered online for the first time the chicken teriyaki bowl. Was notified that my order was ready, walked in, no direction where to go, a few different parties waiting to be seated. The restaurant itself was loud and cold in the first seating area. With several registers at the counter, and still not sure where to pick up I went to the counter and flagged down a very nice server. Gave my name and he checked on the order. While he was doing that another server came up to me and she asked if I was being helped. I thanked her and let her know I was. The male server came back over and told it would be another few minutes, the chicken was still cooking. I waited by the front door, and the same server who first helped me brought my order out a few minutes later. I live just across the street. When I got home and opened the order a quarter of the soup had spilled in the bag, because the lid was not closed properly. There was no tofu in the soup at all (nor in the bag lol). There were no utensils, so good thing I was home and could use my own. Unfortunately the chicken was cold, I expected since it was still finishing up for it to be warm. The taste itself of the food was good, once warmed up and there was a excellent portion of chicken. Ill definitely go back to try again, as i was happy with the staff members that helped me, but I definitely won't order take out, Ill eat in the portion of the restaurant away from the door, and would go other than on a Saturday night, if I didnt have...
Read moreWent here with my family of 5 of a Friday evening. We were seated right away. The place was full looked run down and smelled fishy .The waiter was very friendly and helpful on deciding what to order as in what's their popular dishes.Me and my wife did the all you can eat sushi 🍣 for $39.00 each and the kids only did 1 California roll each .We noticed the quality of the 🍣 Sushi was the lowest grade we have ever seen .So here is the inside scoop we found out since you only see the 5 guys making the orders you don't see the quality being made if you do all you can eat you get the Lowest quality of sushi which makes sense. The individual sushi 🍣 orders where it's not all you can eat you get better quality of sushi. We learned about this from our waiter when we asked him the quality of sushi didn't look good ,He knew I was going to give him a good tip because I ordered several drinks and told him I was going to tip him good as long as he kept my beer 🍺 coming and Saki flowing when needed .People don't waste your money here and risk getting sick especially off a sea food that can kill you .Alot of our orders was trashed 🗑 by our waiter into the black bin they have in the carts .The place is run down and way over priced .My tab was $160.00 not...
Read moreUPDATE: Tried this place again on a Tuesday. It was not busy, we were seated immediately and got helped pretty quick. Service was a lot better since it wasn't busy, sushi was flavorful and fresh. Its was a lot better than my last visit. The sushi here was just okay. Flavor was a bit plain compared to other AYCE sushi. I felt like this location needed more texture as most of there rolls seem mushy, plain and not flavorful. The albacore with the crispy onions on top was the only one I liked. They give you a small dessert (green tea, if you asked) but, gave it to me in a really broke plastic dish and ended up not eating it. Like how do you serve this to your customer!?
Service here was horrible as we did come in on a Tuesday and it was busy. The table next to us was seated after us and got served food immediately like 4 times. Our food took a while to come & refill other than water wouldn't come around as so often (I had just hot water w/lemon).
Overall, we were patient and just wanted to enjoy ourselves for dinner that night. Left the girls a nice tip but, that would probably be my first and...
