We Nails — Local services in Los Angeles

I tried making an appointment on Instagram but nobody ever returned my message so I chose to try to get a walk-in. They took me super fast, which was great, however the woman that did my fill either 1.Didn’t know what she was doing or 2. Had an off day. She still had her hospital bracelet on which tells me she was in no shape to do nails, but I digress. Anyway- she shaved waaay too much off my nails and it was the most painful experience my hands have been through (and I have a VERY high pain tolerance). She also cut my nails very narrowly without telling me how much she planned on taking off the sides. I told her about it before it was too late so only one nail looks off. The rest are an uneven painted mess where some of them don’t even reach my cuticle so it doesn’t even look like I got a fill. Plus she even forgot to put the clear coat on one of my thumbs so it looks matte while the others look shiny. I now have cuts in multiple places from where she wedged the nail file between my nail and my skin and used the cuticle cutter. It would have been nice to tell me I was BLEEDING 😤 instead she just kept picking at my cuticle getting blood all over her unwashed hands and the cuticle cutters (I’m not joking when I say her hands had red blood spots all over them). I’m now battling an infected cut on my finger. I can’t believe I payed $35 for a fill, a reshape and an infection. I even felt bad and gave her a tip simply because I couldn’t tell if she was new or not. My first experience at We Nails and probably my last. So, my original review is below. This is my UPDATED review: After I posted my original review they removed me from their Instagram page. Talk about unprofessional. My review was honest & not even rude or bad. But, if I am being SO HONEST, the lady cut my cuticles so many times & would NOT stop talking. The OWNER kept rushing her, which resulted in my nail polish coming out spotty. I had to go to a different nail salon to get them fixed days later. Pedicure was the WORST I’ve ever had. She basically just re-polished my toes & I paid $20 for that? I could’ve done it myself. It’s upsetting because I was so excited about this place, followed them on IG & all. Only to get banned from their social media because of an HONEST & not at all rude review. As of now, I would deff NOT RECOMMEND this nail salon. Spend your $$ elsewhere. Somewhere they are not petty or immature.

ORIGINAL review: I only didn’t give 5 because the lady rushed my pedicure (didn’t scrub the heels or bottoms of my feet). Just did the nail cutting, polish quickly. TERRIBLE! TERRIBLE! TERRIBLE! I saw on IG they had a slot open, so I went ahead and sent a message and we secured a slot. Woman running the IG asked me what length, shape and if I wanted any designs. I sent her a picture for reference.

When I arrived to my appointment, I also let my nail tech know the shape, length and design. She took a picture of the picture I had for reference.

We were less than halfway done and she said she over booked me. That she had another appointment in less than 10 MINUTES. That she had absolutely no time for the design I wanted which was acrylic flowers. She then proceeded to try and convince me for a different design of her choice, and if I didn't choose another design that I would have to come back another day for her to finish. The drive there was 45 minutes away :((( frustrating part was that she was AWARE that she overbooked but she thought I would go with something simpler instead and that she would have time. SMH. I let her know she should have communicated that with me in the beginning so I had some time to at least search for another design as she was worked on everything else. But she didn't have time, and she was insisting I'd pay the full price for this set anyway. Would you?
