It's the only theater in town, so stars for that. Drinks are good, nachos are good. Popcorn is generally good but sometimes it's not fresh.
Order tickets online in advance to avoid a line and show up early for snacks if you plan a trip to the movies on the weekend!
I went to the movies last night (9/11) with my family to see Shang-Chi and the theater had ants. We had ants on us and some of us had ants on us throughout the film. We didn't realize it was ants until after the show when the lights came on.
I spoke the a manager about it and she seemed unbothered and knew it was an issue (specifically in the theater at the end of the hall). It was a weird disinterested conversation. She had an employee check the row we were in but I'm not sure what that would accomplish.
I would say this is a solid theater (again, the only one in town) if your movie is in a theater on the left side I would beware for ants crawling on you (and potentially your food/drink) for over an hour.
Not sure if they plan on doing anything about the problem or just let it happen until the ants disappear. It seemed like a known issue but not something that was...
Read moreI don't get out too often, but when I go to the Premier Cinemas Movie Theater, it's an experience I don't get enough of. I like going during the matinee time because it's not too busy and during the afternoon, daytime. and it's not as expensive as the nighttime. I get there at least 15 minutes before the movie starts to buy my soft icee or soft drink and popcorn, hotdog, nachos, or candy.my husband & I choose a movie that is not very packed at the time because I don't like being in crowded places. When the lights go out for the movie to start, it's like getting away into the movie for at least 1.5 hrs to 2 hrs. The theaters have reclining leather chairs with arm rests and cup holders that slide down, and there is more room in between rows, so it's not too crowded if you have to get up to use the restroom. It is usually well air conditioned and ventilated, so it doesn't get too hot in while watching the movie. It is the best relaxing place to go to get away from reality at home. The staff is usually always very polite, kind and very helpful. My husband and I last went to see the Kingdom of Planet of the Apes on...
