When I bought a pound and two pounds of meat, I felt that the service here was good and the quality was good. But people cannot stand the test. Tomorrow is Christmas, the employee of a meat department in this supermarket let me see what a dishonest person is like. I feel uncomfortable all day. Yesterday I called and booked 24 pounds of oxtail and emphasize that I want the small one, and the large one is too fat. I don't like eating it. They said they will prepaid for me tomorrow. There was a long line into the supermarket this morning, and a brown-skinned employee serviced me. I asked him to open the paper bag wrapped tail for a look. He said that I don’t need to look at it, and it was already packed. I said I don't want a big one, I am worried about being too fat. He reluctantly opened it a bit, and took out two to see, I think they are too big, I said that if you can help me change some small one from which placed on the counter, he said just a little bit on the counter ,don't change. I saw there were customers waiting, and worried that they didn’t have time, so I said, ok, no problem. And then I took the package without look into it and without weighed it and go to checkout(only label price no weigh). How I trust this market. How foolish I am! When I got home and weighed it, it was only 22.98 pounds. I called the meat department and a man said immediately, you bring the receipt and I will give you a pound back without paying again. I said all right and I went to Lunadi again. As a result, the brown-skinned employee came out and said, "I can't make up for you. I cut the fat. Another person doesn’t know the reason for how lack one pound, and the cuts counted as yours." I said that it was your workmate who answered me and let me come back to get it, and I don’t like you without tell me and cut it. What I need is small ones that don’t need to be cut. I had no choice but to find the manager. He still felt there was a reason, so he also went to the manager. I told the manager that I wanted a small tail. He couldn’t sell all his fat tail and I don’t want to buy fat tail and he sell me all fat big tail and he let me paid 24 pounds at casher, but he didn’t tell me that I only had 23 pounds. Unfortunately, he didn’t expect I have scales. when I knew it is only 23 pounds and came back ,He was looking for a reason and told me he didn't cheat me just because he cut the fat yesterday. But I didn't let him cut the fat, nor did I see him cut the fat, and the fat tail was not what I wanted. I want to change the small and thin on the counter but he refuse.I was very disappointed he sold me the fat tail and didn’t tell me it is only 23 pounds , just gave me a package with a label on the paper only show price $192.24 ,no show weigh.$192.24is the price of 24.06 pounds, and look for reason for his 1 pound lacked,he betraying my trust in the supermarket lunardis.Although the manager make up me 1 pound of tail ,and I still upset when I see so many big and fat tails. I just can not speak good English, which doesn’t mean I’m a fool. If I’m a real fool, I might not know that he is deceiving and bullying me, giving me the worst things and not letting me see, and deliberately losing a pound. Petition the supermarket to fire people...
Read moreName should be BooMart. It's a very nice grocery store, well-stocked, clean, and large so there's a large selection of things. However the prices are high, but then there's a reason for this.
It's Boomer Central. The shoppers - a mix of Boomers and, I think, care workers out shopping for Boomers. The checkout staff? Boomers. There's a nice little nook for sitting with a drink or some food, and I had some (overpriced) sushi and a kefir there then did some study, while the place filled up with, you guessed it, Boomers. Homeless Boomers. Yep there are homeless there, they're just all Boomers. So I got the full-volume speaker phone thing they like to do, the shouting conversations about how it's the end of the world that Starbucks is simplifying their menu, and so on.
I also overheard more boomer goodness from the checkouts, some surliness, the guy using Hawaiian words - "Mah-haw-low!" etc. to show he'd been there or owns a time-share there or something - the usual Boomerisms.
Since I couldn't really study, I observed. It was a continual stream of Boomers going in and out. This is why the prices are high - they're in Boomer money which is different from yours or mine in that there's a lot more of it.
So if you wish to observe Boomers in their natural habitat, this is the place! It's a great market, but you must...
Read moreI just moved into the area. So I figured to try out the place. There are so many things that I found this place is a bit out of ordinary.
Team members aren't friendly at all. They are looking a bit stereotype with their facial expressions.
Items are very expensive and nothing stand out in comparison to all your competitors.
My two options would rather be shopping at Nuggets or Whole Foods Market.
Do not attempt to contact me to change the review. I have experienced it the past. Where company has reached out to change the review.
The store smelled like meat, it may be normal but that's a poor impression for visitors.
Overall, in despite all the critical itemized that I have mentioned. It wasn't so much of how expensive your produce or whatever else about the store at this location. You put customer service at the bottom of your list. I am not sure if the company is looking to perhaps bringing more revenue in near the future or just...
