Well to start I've always used Public Storage just not this location and never will I ever use it again! The mission statement is just that with no meaning. My storage unit has been messed up for almost 3 months now and I've gotten so many promises since then and can't get a return call or any resolve. I've contacted the district manager and left messages and text no response or any type of concern which is very unprofessional and unworthy of the title most definitely. She's on vacation more than I guess she works must be nice. I've made several trips and even called the KP property manager she was more concerned on how I got her mobile number than the issue I was calling about. She said she would have the district manager call me and 2 weeks later nothing. I sent them both a group text message and crickets no response! These are the most unprofessional, uncaring people I've ever dealt with and customer service is definitely not something they care to take pride in. I've reached out to the CEO at the corporate office and will see if the f*@k our customers is company wide or just the jokes of management they hired. I also found it interesting that even corporate level had horrible reviews that made me just shake my head. The only call I've received is when the bill is due! I asked the last gentleman why should I pay for services I'm not receiving and he hung up on me. I've been very patient with these people but now it's getting to be ridiculous. I'm going to contact the media trouble shooter if I haven't heard anything in a couple of days and like a gentleman on the corporate reviews stated get together and file a class action lawsuit. Maybe then they will take more pride in their company brand and realize customers is what makes a business. So if you are reading this please take other options in storage rental companies! The first month $1 is a warning of what you have to look forward to, $1 service! I wish I would've been warned or looked at overall...

Allow me to give my experience..
I have the smallest unit, for about 3 to 4 years now, it started at $80 to then rise to now $120+ an still going up - no upgrade unit or reason outside time used.
They don't keep the units cold or cooled off it's always 78 degrees or hotter even when asked about it, stays hot. No per unit dolly or cart as advertised, there always scattered, people enter without pass code from time to time whenever I stop in.
Biggest grievance I have is the price gouging. To have the smallest unit an paying over $120 and told its going up - only after its increased to then be given a discount still rising the price unnecessarily is the main reason its inevitable customers won't stay. No longevity when other places/even PS offers lower prices for bigger units but not if your an existing member/loyal customer.
Rick works at this location & he's honestly one of the reasons I've stayed as he's a nice/polite grounds keeper that actually trys to help.
Felt strongly enough to rewrite a review prior to hunting for a new storage, hope this helps protect the next person looking for a fair deal in a storage unit. (Picture of the temp in my units building, stays over 76 or hotter regardless of requests to lower..)

Ā Ā Ā Read moreI was trying to find a nice storage unit on a budget. Public Storage on Beulah Church Road in Highview was the most reasonable and the grounds are very nice and well taken care of. I was surprised by that because the monthly rate was $30-$40 cheaper than other places I looked at. I was able to reserve it with my phone. The next day, I went to finish the move in process. Janet was the employee that assisted me with that. She was very friendly and answered all my questions and helped me set up monthly auto payments. She showed me around and took me to my unit as well. Janet made my experience even better than the money I saved, it was nice to have someone to help who actually cared about their job. Thank you Public Storage and Janet for making the...
