“Operational manager” of Pharmacy VERY rude with a nasty attitude. Went through drive-through to pick up medication, was greeted in a rude manner. I asked about the discount card that I was told over the phone would make my medication cheaper, was told “ You’re going to have to come in “ because she cannot do the discount through the drive-through, she’s “only one person“ I said OK I’ll just come in still remaining pleasant. I immediately parked and went in, but decided to pick up some fiber in the aisle next to the pharmacy, I overheard her talking about me in a derogatory way to her coworkers. To which I announced “ I’m right here and I am coming.” Once getting to the counter, I was very surprised to see that the woman I was dealing with through the drive-through and talking about me , had a name badge that read operational manager. I was very polite from start to finish. I’m not sure what her issue was with me but maybe Walgreens should have a conversation with the face of management about her people skills in treating people...
Read moreOn 10/6/22 I went into the store to the pharmacy to purchase Sta-hist. The women at the front counter very abruptly and rudely told me it was a prescription only. I immediately called another Walgreens to verify because I hadn’t needed a prescription in the past for it and that Walgreens told me that a prescription was NOT needed. I then called the pharmacy I had went into so I could speak with the pharmacist directly. He proceeded to tell me that this medication required a prescription. Well that’s interesting because I went to Kroger about an hour later and picked some up at their pharmacy no problem and no prescription and they told me Walgreens lied to me! Read moreI've been coming here for almost a decade. Liked almost everyone that worked here over the years and never really had any issues until just recently. Lately, upper management (not store mgmt) has been firing good workers for just about anything but this most recent one, the firing of an employee that had been there for 16 years, that the community liked and respected, was about it for me. They were one of the best employees that company could ask for and they terminated her employment over petty nonsense, only to be replaced by rude employees that don't know what they're doing. For this, I have sharply cut back my almost daily visits to Walgreens. I know many others that feel the same. I went in almost every morning but I'll be getting those items at the various other stores in Highview from...
