China Chef — Restaurant in Louisville

The man that took our order was ruled and was rushing us to place our order and the whole order was wrong. When I called to let them know that they messed my order up the person that answer. The phone had a audacity to be rude and to tell me that I ordered beef when I haven’t ate meat in a decade, he continue to be rude and raise his voice and then told me I could bring my food back and they’ll give me my money back and hung up on me so I gave the food to someone who eats meat and went to Golden star restaurant on Taylor Boulevard where they have never messed up my order the food is always fantastic and I recommend this place over China Chef any day. Plus, I noticed he was being real rude to me and my friend who are both African-American, but as soon as a white person came in the door, he was all smiles. I would never spend another...

I don't think I've ever called food disgusting in a review before, but there is no other word for the $30 worth of food I just threw in the trash after two of us took maybe 10 bites total. Swimming in grease, cold chewy stale egg rolls and spring rolls that I believe were cooked at minimum 24 hours ago, no flavor to anything other than grease and a hint of spice. The restaurant itself is filthy with weird jury-rigged structures that show they have no regard for the most basic appearance of the restaurant - imagine what goes on out of sight! The fact this place has a 4.2 rating makes it clear to me the time of consumer reviews being helpful is over - too easy to rig...

Food is pretty good, service is not. Have given them 3 chances to turn my opinion around, my last visit made my mind up for good. I always Request a simple accomodation that was not anything rare or crazy and was told it could not happen all 3 encounters, I just wanted the vegetables as a side instead of the rice that it listed as coming with. Every time after going back and forth a few times as to why its possible, I get told that it can happen but that they have to charge extra. I pay the extra every time to not even get my request fufilled. I get a few pieces of broccoli after paying 1.00 more. Next time I will drive a little further for better...
