So I’m gonna share my first (and last) experience I had with this card shop. First off, i came to this shop to sell some cards out of my Pokémon and Yugioh collection. I live roughly 30 min away from this shop, therefore I called in advance to let the owner know exactly what kind of cards I had, from which eras and to get an idea for the rates at which he pays for cards. He told me he would be interested in them and to come down and he would take a look (knowing I love 30 min away cause I told him). So once I arrive he proceeds to take a look at my collection and picking out which ones he wanted, this process took 1.5 to 1.45 hours to do cause he had to look up each and every card (which is standard), however it was very obvious he knows next to nothing about YGO or Pokemon and he even stated himself he’s not familiar with them (which I was not aware of). He started out very friendly and nice untill he picked out 1 or 2 cards that I said I didn’t want to part with for only 50% cash value (which is what they pay). After that his whole attitude changed snd he became blatantly annoyed and upset I didn’t want to sell those particular cards. Which then lead to him telling me he didn’t want to buy anything anymore even though we had already come to an agreement on 3,000 bulk YGO & Pokemon cards plus an entire Pokémon binder for $40. Which is already horrible deal on my end but I agreed cause I needed money and he knew that. He then said the only way he would buy anything is if I gave him the bulk, my binder, forbidden droplet ($100 card), and blue eyes (MAGO $24 card) for $100. Which I obviously declined, then proceeded to pack my things and leave. Point is the owner will try and take full advantage of your situation and offer you buckles and dimes for your valuable collection rather then doing legit deal and offering a fair amount. Plus he knows nothing about YGO or Pokemon, just magic. So if your looking to sell your collection do not come here if your looking for a knowledgeable buyer and a fair deal. Cause you won’t get either here. And he’ll just waste 2 hours of your day even though you talk to him prior to coming, and even after you agree on a deal. He will back out if you don’t sell him what he wants....

Came in here despite what I heard about the place dealing with Pokemon. Figured everyone deserves a chance so I came in with a box of Pokemon slab's and card's that I've been wanting to sell. I fully understand shop's have to make their profit as well so I was ready for some low offers. Wasn't ready for someone to try and rip me off though. Once he was sure he thought I was an easy hit he continued to explain how he wanted to buy a few slabs. Only problem according to him was that all slabs aren't really protected after getting encapsulated. Then proceeded to tell me the reason why he thought that was because of the sun? Apparently every collector places their slab's in the baking sun for weeks so that way by the time they want to sell them he has to break the slab open and send it back in to be re graded. In other words he wanted to pay me raw prices for graded cards on top of 50% off original raw price. I stopped him right there and packed up and left. Nice shop for magic but if your bringing in Pokemon save yourself some time and...

Called to ask how many attendees have signed up for an event coming up, as it is a decent drive for me. The guy on the phone said he had a running list to which I responded so “can I get the number of people who have registered?” And his response was “Frankly, you are calling asking about my event and I don’t even know who you are.” In a very rude tone. I explained it’s a far drive and I just want to know about how many people there are going to be as there are other events around on that date. I would work on professionalism and customer service. Events like this have CAP limits due to space and other factors so it is not uncommon to have people interested calling beforehand asking questions so they can make decisions on where to go.

Edit (4/5/23) guess they only have time to respond positive reviews or reviews they can dispute but they know they were in the wrong.
