Stayed here for a year, terrible experience. Loud train sound every few mins, lost my good sleep habit. I work from home, the loud noise is very distracting when I am in a meeting. Top of that, the resident above me had heavy foot steps. I could hear loud sound and I felt literally the ceiling would fall off that's how loud the noise is most of the time at 3:30 or 4:30 in the morning. I believe she also works from home as I see her and her car parked most of the time. If she was going to work that would have been understandable. Notified lease office, nothing has been done.
Also, this advice is for future residents. Make sure you are clear how the security deposit will be returned. I was told from day 1 if there are no damages then I'll get the full amount back. Guess what, that's wasn't the case. I left the place clean and no damages but they took out almost $150 for utility bills for the month that I left. Even when I was there I didn't pay that much. It's just they need to make money off of something. Their internal system is not easy to understand either. Wrong amount goes to the wrong bucket and when you question they will correct that. Asked the property manager (Rebecca) to give me a call to explain this and never heard back.
It's not worth to live here compared to the amount of rent...
Read moreMy husband and I have lived at Woodmont Valley for a year and a half now. We sold our large home and wanted to downsize. I can honestly say we looked at various apartments for over 19 months before selling our home and kept coming back that Woodmont would be the best choice. We were not disappointed. Any maintenance issues ( not many) or questions we have are answered and responded to immediately! The fixtures are modern and nice. We were impressed by the amount of space in the closets and cabinets as well. The apartments are quiet, the other tenants are friendly, and it is close to Weis market (on nice days we walk) and Macungie or Emmaus always have something going on. The train whistle does blow loudly at times (we were told about that beforehand), but after awhile it doesn't seem bad at all. The buildings are very secure and safe, the lighting in the parking lot is well-lit and pretty, and the snow removal last year was promptly cleaned early. The grounds are kept well- manicured and the spring and summer flowers just burst with color. The hillside exposes the fall leaves like a postcard. They keep the hallway rugs clean, the outside building cleaned (power-washed), and grills maintained...The pool, gym, and clubhouse are very clean and convenient. I hope this review...
Read moreI canât say enough about how helpful the office staff is. They are friendly, easy to get in touch with, help with any questions. They make sure you understand everything and how to access and use the different amenities, which are beautiful. The maintenance men are friendly and helpful. The complex is beautiful and well maintained. The security system is great. I like the process they have in place to pick up deliveries, There is a train nearby and one can hear the whistle blow. It isnât distracting, I like it. Half the time I donât hear it, Iâm used to it. I really enjoy listening to the train. I have a one bedroom with a den. Perfect size for me. Space is a little tight but there are so many inexpensive organizers that one can purchase from Amazon or Target. So space really isnât an issue. Woodmont is extremely dog friendly and there are places to give your dog a bath, a fenced in area for the dogs to run around, and âtrashâ areas with plastic bags to pick up your dog waste. The residents in the complex are friendly.Weiss is right actually the street, a short walking distance. I would highly recommend this apartment complex . I forgot to mention the grilling area with the fire pit next to it. Itâs really nice to sit around the...
