Dollar General — Local services in Macungie

It is ALWAYS A pleasure to shop at “Dollar General”….. they have a verry accommodating & friendly staff… THEY always working hard , & I will name them 4u. .. That would be Adrienne ( “Red” ).. it would be Michael,, & . Also, would be Karen,… , been there forever , as well as the above mentioned ) LASTLY .. I’m SOOOO sorry that Ron “had to go”I can’t believe you let Adonis slip through your hands , as STORE MANAGER , for quite a long while HE WAS an EXCELLENT , devoted leader, whom brought the best out of everything in ur store , including his staff … A CLASS ACT . Shame on you for ignoring all great talents in ur ..the peeps I mentioned are also perfectly qualified to run that stove. But U dump all the work on them , and it boggles my mind , wondering how they can get out from UNDER all the various duties . … sorry, they’re a good crew ,and you just don’t do enough to keep the good workers comfortable .££££££££. and NO HEAT,in the bldg . Now tgt is INEXCUSABLE… you’re the largest and most PROFITABLE store , in the. WORLD OF DISCOUNT STORES C, AND U DON’T pay ATTENTION ! I would be lost without this store ..as I don’t drive … PLEASE KEEP IT HAPPILY ACTIVE AND HAVE A CONSCIENCE to come in and fix . ! “Where are ur priorities ?- don’t know.! Poor customer service at check out. We had to wait until the cashier was ready to come to the front, after she said "just a minute." She ignored us while we watched her at the shelving, removing labels on the shelf. The only item available to remind her we were waiting was a dirty toy pig a person has to manually squeeze to get her attention. Disgusting! When she finally came to the front, no apologies, no thank you... It was like we were interfering with her work. There are people out there more deserving of a job than Karen. I do not frequent the store unless I am in dire need for a card at the last minute. Never again...

Waited at checkout for cashier to appear. She rung up my item and the total was incorrect. I told her the item was on sale. She said the sale ended on the 9th. Today is the12th. I told her I would put the item back on the shelf where there was a sale sign with the sale price. I returned the item to the shelf and the sale sign was gone. While walking out of the store I informed the cashier that the sale sign was there 30 seconds ago. She didn't even acknowledge what I said as I walked out. Now I know why I haven't stepped inside a dollar general in years, and...
