Your store is extremely well organized and your staff is friendly. You get 2 gold stars for that, and they are important stars.
That being said, there is something fundamentally wrong with the way you price your items. I can tell you have staff that does their best effort researching the items you stock and pricing them at-or-just-below eBay or other non-thrift store competitors. If you were running a retail antique store or a vintage boutique shop you would be doing a great job... but your goods are donated, your initial cost is -zero- and your goal should be to move items off the shelves as quickly as possible to make room for more -zero- cost items. Pricing items at or just below market value is actually COSTING you money because resellers like myself can’t purchase your goods and sell them to our customers.
I know what you’re thinking:
“why should we lower our prices so you can make money, that’s ridiculous”
The answer is simple: when you make your prices attractive to resellers, you make more money faster and have more room to stock more items to in-turn... make more money.
When you price crystal glassware, ceramic plates, or vintage housewares to the prices you see on eBay, you’re forgetting that the customer base for these items is small and isolated; they’re never coming to your store. Oftentimes the items need actual authentication, research, repair or cleaning and your prices make this impossible to do.
Your initial cost is zero, but leaving things sitting on your shelf collecting dust costs you exponentially more with each day...

I have been in and out of Junior League Thrift for about six years with my mother and will not be returning due to recent experiences; and strongly advise Black shoppers and other people of color to be cautious when visiting this store (there are many stores nearby that are welcoming to all and very friendly!). I visited alone and I was racially profiled by staff, and felt uncomfortable shopping in the store as I felt heavily supervised. Additionally, those working there were noticeably passive to me in comparison to interactions with other customers. I initially brushed this off, assuming that the employees might have been having a bad day. However, about a month later, a friend of mine had the same experience- being singled out from the people he was shopping with, who were white, he is Black. While the store is overall well organized, and decently priced; the way I have been treated because of my skin color is absolutely unacceptable and very...
Read moreOne of the best thrift stores that I've ever been too. There is a huge selection of decor, home goods, clothing, books, accessories, bags, shoes, and jewelry. The clothing is high quality and gently used, and there is a section for designer clothing as well. This is a good place to pick up office wear or a cocktail dress. If you are a collector, there are ceramic figurines, plates, china, crystal, and silver offered at pennies on the dollar. The curated clothing selection rotates with the season. The staff is super nice, too, and there are even changing rooms. What makes this a standout is that it is so clean and well organized, so I don't feel overwhelmed the way I do in some thrift stores. There is parking in the back, so if you turn in next to the McDonalds, you can park right behind the store and go in through the back entrance. Check it out next time...
