GameStop — Local services in Lower Oxford Township

Ordered $350 worth of stuff online as an anniversary gift to my boyfriend. Online it said it would arrive in 1-3 days. It’s 2 days later and it hasn’t been shipped yet so in order to get it on time to give him the gift on our actual anniversary I decided to try and call to see if I could possibly pick it up from the store instead. I called from when they opened at 12 every 10 minutes for about 2 and a half hours and nobody picked up. I’m so desperate to get this gift on time I decided to drive from my house 30 minutes away to see if they would possibly still have the package here at the store and I could just take it instead of it being shipped out. When I got here there’s a sign on the door saying that they left at 2 (then why did nobody answer the phone before 2?) and that someone would be back “later”. They could’ve at least put a time of when they’d be back because now I’ve been sitting in the parking lot hoping that some staff member would show up, but nobody has. Wasted my time all day calling, an hour of driving, and a half an hour of sitting in the parking lot. And probably still won’t get my package in time anyways. Awful. I recently had an issue with an online order from GameStop where the item arrived in terrible condition—covered in dirt and grime. When I went to the store to resolve the problem, I was fortunate to be helped by Tom.

Tom was incredibly professional, kind, and determined to make things right. Even when he discovered an issue with the emailed receipt that could’ve stopped the transaction, he didn’t let it end there. He took the initiative to contact higher-ups, worked through the problem, and ensured everything was handled smoothly.

Thanks to Tom’s dedication, I left the store with a proper replacement and even ended up grabbing a few accessories because of how great the experience was. Honestly, most GameStops I have been to are pretty decent, but these guys at the Oxford Commons gamestop blow all of the others out of the water. The staff is super friendly and fun to talk to and very helpful when it comes to picking games/finding deals or savings,.

I purchased a couple Pre-owned games for my little brother, and when we got home he opened the case to one game and the disc wasn't there. So I quickly got in my car at 6:57 (they closed at 7:00) and quickly called the number. I explained the situation to the employee who was extremely apologetic and told me that he would keep the door open for me. I arrived at the store at around 7:04 and sure enough, he was at the door with a copy of the game.
