We moved to Oxford two years ago and have been trying to find a place to make our breakfast spot for the weekends. I casually stalked the shopping center until they opened and we have been there every weekend (and ok maybe a few week day lunches). If something is made incorrectly (my husband doesnât like cheese but frequently orders a hamburger but since thatâs almost not American to eat a burger without cheese I could see how this mistake occurred) it was corrected IMMEDIATELY, even when the tickets were piling up they stopped to remake his burger so he did not have to eat without use. Every new restaurant has growing pains but quilts of food should never be questioned when going to Early Bird Cafe I know I am getting the freshest of fresh. (Sometimes itâs coming right out of the delivery truck because they are so busy!    Read moreWe came on a Sunday morning and it was busy however we got right in. We had our food in a very reasonable time.
Coffee was exceptional. The wheat toast it's not the little thin stuff however it's the thick amazing toast.
My wife had chicken and biscuit covered with gravy which was very tasty. Maybe could have had a little bit more gravy on it but still a sufficient amount.
I had meat lovers omelette minus the Pennsylvania favorite scrapple. Sorry not a native Pennsylvanian. Your home fries were cooked just right. Like I already said but worth repeating fantastic toast!
So overall, They were very busy but we still had great service and great food. They managed to keep it a cozy hometown and enjoyable experience.
I definitely recommend stopping in. Next time it'll be the corned beef hash on the plate for me to...
