Cindie's - Lubbock — Local services in Lubbock

DO NOT BOTHER! First, middle of the afternoon. Pull up, "open" sign was off & no cars out front. Thought it was closed & almost left but saw movement inside & checked the door & they were open.

Told lady behind counter it was off & she said "yeah, it's broken"..... That's it....

Staff was incredibly rude as we browsed. We mentioned we were from out of town & they asked if we visited any other adult stores. We said we had been to the new Adam & Eve store & were interrogated about what it was like, how many customers, prices and such. They were very interested in their competition. I wonder how many of the folks were at the other store because they thought this place was closed.

It's a shame. They had a really great selection & the prices seemed reasonable, but we won't patronize a business that treats customers like that. Clearly from the other reviews this is an...

The staff there now couldn't make me feel more uncomfortable than what I just felt. It was so awkward because I couldn't look at anything in peace, the ladies who were working there wouldn't stop watching me and making me feel like they were being nosey. I could see them staring and every time I looked at something that I was actually planning to purchase they would start conversing and pointing like they've never seen anyone browsing alone. I actually didn't buy what I wanted to and left because all I wanted to do was get out of there. If you're looking for discretion, comfort, and a pleasant place to shop for novelties or lingerie, then don't go to Cindies because you're going to be watched, followed, and probably talked about. I doubt that I'll be back again so thanks Cindies for the horrible experience. Judging by all the bad reviews it's a miracle that they're still...

There's been a note on their door that says they're only taking credit cards, no cash. That was a few days ago. So I call just now and ask them hey are you taking cash now? The lady says "No". Silence. I asked her is there any estimated date when you will? She replies "no". Silence on the phone again. So I say "Thank you" and hang up. My recommendation is to shop anywhere else except the store. Rude staff. Customer service is about explaining the reason, or apologizing for the inconvenience. This staff didn't either. I get the impression they don't want my business. And so, their wish is granted. I will shop elsewhere. Apparently the staff member is having a bad day and taking it out on the customer.
