GameStop — Local services in Lubbock

Me and my husband often frequent this game stop. Usually the employees here and friendly and helpful. However, today I entered in hopes of finding one piece tcg. My husband is a huge fan but finding it in town, has been a challenge! The packs or boxes go very quickly. I check here and there when I can. Today I popped in, in hopes of finding some packs for his stocking. I talked to the worker there and she was very nice and told me that they didn't have any in stock and they go fast. I thanked her, and instead purchased something else. As we casually chatted while she rang me up, she said "we have two booster packs (of one piece) but I'm saving them in the back until I get paid" I was stunned at this. I almost couldn't believe what she told me. I don't understand can employees hold things for themselves in the back? Most stores I'd work at, prohibited that. And look, I know we all do stuff like this but you definitely don't look a customer in the face and tell them this?? It's like a slap in the face to tell them that you do have the product they've come in looking for, but will not sell it to them. I don't get why she told me this. It felt very much rude. I will probably not come back to this store, personally. So over all, nice girl but maybe keep stuff like that...

Daughter went into to look around as they do at all the game stops to see what’s new or traded in, well the employee working on Sunday October 8 2023 at 730 pm had her mother there waiting I assume as a ride home well she was assuming my daughter and friend were there to plot a theft ring, kept saying over and over that’s how it starts they come in two then two more come in and they rob the place and was playing security for the store! I am very upset at the fact that you allow people who are not employees there and are allowed to speak about customers that way!...

Bought a preowned PlayStation here for 497$ ridiculous pricing for a preowned PlayStation to begin with but not only that I got it filled with dirt and dust and it was disgusting.
