Had lunch today at The Sandwich Spot Lubbock and honestly I wasn't impressed. Had the Air Raid (#2) on the Dutch Crunch bread. The bread pretty much overwhelms the sandwich and the bread was not warm. I don't know if toasting the bread is an option.
I went in as a stupid first comer. Told the cashier I had no clue what I wanted and she just stood there with no offer to help. The extent of her help was to upsell to a combo. Took more than 10 minutes to get the sandwich which I thought was too long considering they were not busy
The sandwich didn't seem well put together. All of the meat was on one side and honestly the toppings seemed sparse with little flavor. It had mustard, mayo, and their secret sauce on it. Can't say there was anything special about it.
Thought it was way too expensive for what you got. I would rather go to Firehouse. They need to step up their game or they won't be around long...
