Sonic Drive-In — Restaurant in Lubbock

Ordered two chili cheese tots, a large m&m blast, and a large chocolate chip cookie dough blast. Noticed plenty wrong with this location this time around too.

First, most of their screens are broken, and they HEAVILY insist that everyone just let them take their credit/debit cards inside to run them (last time they charged extra things onto my card without my knowledge after I allowed them to take my card inside, never happening again).

Second, they take forever making the food and bringing it out, and many times they’ve dropped some part of my order on the ground (and a few times they even tried to still give it to me after I’d already watched it hit the dirty ground).

Then this last trip: they tried to insist on taking my card inside (said nope and paid in exact cash), then dropped part of my order again (had to threaten to call corporate just to get it replaced with food that hadn’t been on the ground), then I get home to find that they made my blast wrong (they mixed butterfinger, Reese’s, and Oreo into the bottom of my cookie dough blast, and stuck a teeny amount of cookie dough on top to make it look like it was correct).

I am SO done with this freaking location! I’ll drive the extra 5 minutes to get to the ones on 4th and Quaker (that actually does things correctly and timely)...

The burger was mediocre The meat was not freshly cooked. The lettuce had brown edges and the bun was rough around the edges. I had tater tots and they were a little ,how should I say this, extremely brown and crunchy. Ketchup usually makes fried potatoes, of any kind, better in my world! Not in this case. However, the Dr. Pepper was delicious and hit the spot! I did not call and complain because we all have some days in our lives when things are not good, we make mistakes and you just never know what that person may have been through that day or week! Be sincerely kind hearted to others. None of us are perfect, we all fail and most ALL of us make at least one bad choice in life! Ease up, pump your brakes lose the stress of ugliness... It's heavy too! Peace and groovy vibes to...

This is the worst sonic in lubbock. They always mess up my order by either the wrong drink, wrong burger, or no side. On the 21st I ordered 2 double cheeseburgers plain and dry meals one with bacon ended up getting 2 fully loaded burgers with no bacon called the store talked to the Mexican manager saying he would write my name down to have the order remade showed up the next morning didn't have my name down and couldn't give me my money back. Called the corporate number filed 2 complaints. Filed the second one today the 25th after no call back by the 23rdafter being assured I would be receiving a call back in 24-48 hours. Horrible management they need to hire a whole new team because this one...
