Rise N Shine Donuts — Restaurant in Lubbock

Food is great, but service was lacking today. The placed an order for 4 dozen small kolaches for my kids classes 2 days in advance. The day before the order was to be picked up, I called to confirm order was there and would be ready at 8:30. I walked in at 8:30 and had to wait in the long line that is normal for this place (cause, ya know, great food). A customer that was maybe 4 guests ahead of me had called in an order an hour before, and walked out with half of my order. Once I got to the register, the gentleman confirmed he gave part of my order to the other customer, and that he could replace with donuts or jalapeno kolaches. I told him that wouldn't work for me because I committed to bringing kolaches to classrooms. He then told me I could wait 15 minutes for the larger kolaches that he would give me for the same price I had agreed to pay for the smaller ones. Ended up waiting 20 minutes. So i finally left with my purchase at 9:20. An hour late, and no discount for the inconvenience. I was not offered even a cup of coffee for me or a donut hole for my 4 yr old as we waited. Very...

The service is what you should expect from a donut shop – fast, courteous, adequate. Yet, I sit here looking at my purchase this morning that I am going to have to throw away. The attendant did not use gloves when grabbing the donuts from the counter display. I don’t know where her hands were in the moments before I entered the store. What is worse is that she proceeded to take my card, a card that may have all sorts of harmful microbes on it at any one time. That she served me the food and took my payment leads me to suspect that this may have happened with other customers before me this morning. Could I have said something? Yes, but I was enjoying the light conversation we were having and it really never crossed my mind until it was too late. I may have to reconsider my next visit. This is a shame because I live so close and this shop is convenient when I don’t have a breakfast that I brought from home. On the bright side, avoiding this store will prompt me to eat the more wholesome and nutritious food I keep in my home. So maybe a thank you to this store is in...

It was my first time going to RISE N SHINE. The Hispanic young lady with glasses and ponytail was very RUDE when I ordered. I seen her put something on the counter. It sit there over 5 minutes. I saw other people order and go!!! I'm still there as if my time wasn't valuable. After 5 minutes longer 🤔 I asked if that was my order just sitting there and she stated, "Yes." I grabbed it and left.. I get pass the interstate off 4th street and notice all my order was not there.. I go back too RISE N Shine. The lady, saw me standing there again and could hear her telling another co-worker too go to the back and tell the cooks make my breakfast sandwich. I asked, the manager if I could get my money back and stated yes with no problem. For the young lady, Customer service is very hard, but if she can't handle her job, she needs too find another one. I will NOT RETURN TO THIS PLACE EVER AGAIN. I couldn't even get what I paid for, but I got a RUDE...
