Time Crunch Escapes — Local services in Lubbock

My sister and I went to Time Crunch Escapes for the Turntable Diner Escape room June 22, 2021. Clinton (the owner) greeted us immediately and was very friendly. He made us laugh and walked us through all the locks for the room and gave us a few tips and tricks for doing the escape room. He also gave us a chance to earn a fourth clue all before we even made it into the room so we didn't lose any of our time! :)

If you are worried about how clean the rooms are, these were clean! I was impressed! I have been in rooms that were not cleaned. The workers here take very good care of the place and have a lot of pride in what they do! Plus, you get the room to yourselves with just your party!

While in the room, we were able to ask for clues. You start with four clues and you can ask for as many clues as needed, but if you need more than four clues, you cannot make it to the leader board (which is fair IMO). This is all explained before hand and I think it is a fun incentive! We finished the room with 5 minutes and 5 seconds left! We were proud because it was just us two. There were no problems with the room and everything was clean and very well thought of.

Clinton was our helper during the escape room and he was very patient and willing to help out. This room was one of my favorites I have ever done! He was also hilarious! My sister and I are teachers and he used to teach as well so we bonded pretty quickly!

We were so impressed with how smooth everything ran that we stayed and he got us into the Shady Detective thirty minutes later! That's how impressed we were and how fun it was! We stayed for two rooms instead of just the one! I enjoyed this one more because it had more puzzles. The room was clean and it was so much fun! This room is meant for 3 or more, but Clinton gladly came in and helped us with one part of it that needed three hands. We finished the room!! I think it was 11 minutes left, but we were so excited that we stopped the Shady Detective Terry Bole (get it? Terrible! LOL).

Both rooms were so much fun! We were not stressed or freaking out because if you need extra clues, your time is not docked like it is in the Midland Cinergy ones. My sister and I completed all three of those.

Honestly, Time Crunch is my favorite Escape Room place! I have been to escape rooms in Midland and San Antonio as well, but this one was the best! Everything was clean, he was very helpful, anything not part of the room that should not be messed with to save you time is clearly marked with orange dots such as light switches. Both Clinton and another worker were very polite and awesome! They truly enjoy running the rooms and we could tell!

I'm definitely coming back to do the Pyramid one and the Pirate one. He showed us the Pirate one and suggested more people for it. I cannot wait to get my pirate crew ready and to head up to Lubbock!

Absolute blast!!

Visiting family in Lubbock and we all decided to try an escape room for the first time. We had 7 family members from adults, high schoolers to elementary age. There were so many puzzles to complete that every single member was able to contribute to help solve something… I was actually surprised. After-the-fact, we re-lived the puzzles and talked about how each person contributed. (“And then [name] figured out that the letters corresponded to….). We all had such a great time.

The puzzles were fun and exciting, challenging but not overbearing. Everything was well thought-out and the the presentation (decor) of the room was really impressive.

The facility was clean, in order, and well-kept. You can tell the owner took great pride in his business. Speaking of, the owner was there and greeted us and cheered us when we succeeded. His energy and excitement was contagious and really added to the entire experience.

We want to try the other rooms also… may have to make this a family tradition.

Quit researching other escape rooms and book here now. Seriously… quit...
