Dairy Queen — Restaurant in Lubbock

Incompetent!!!! The only thing I ordered was a large order of fries. That though, isn’t the problem! The problem is when I got to the window and I was handing the incompetent girl the $20 dollar bill. She let go of it and it landed in a huge puddle of water, because this all happened during a storm that has just passed through here in Lubbock. I had to backup the car, open the door and take my seatbelt off all while the bill just drifted deeper down underneath the car, causing the door to hit the building and scratching up my door in order to reach the bill. All the while the “girl” just stared and laughed. Once I got the bill I was so furious so I asked for the manager. She stands there and I literally had to yell for her to get the manager. Any other time I would have been calm but, after the door scratch and me having to get wet, not to mention the electronics on the door getting wet because I had to open the door to get the $20 dollar bill she let go of, my impatience was through the roof. Only to have the manager drag herself over, while taking an order. Then I just briefly tell her and all she said was “oh that’s fine I can dry it off. I told her I didn’t want the order anymore and she just said fine and nastly closed the window. To the owners of this place. I used to work for Dairy Queen here in Lubbock back in the 80’s . I am so disappointed with the way I was treated today. Would you like your mother to be treated like I was today? I hope that y’all get treated the same way or that y’all’s loved ones get treated like this to understand my anger at...

On october 3rd, 2024 Me and my boyfriend went to the dairy queen on 82nd and indiana. We ordered two medium cotton candy blizzard. With extra topping.

When we got home, we turned on a video game and started to eat our blizzards. My boyfriend was on a video call with a few of his friends when he started gagging and choking randomly. He coughed out a giant piece of rubber that was at the bottom of his blizzard.

Upon contacting brady's dairy queen corporation. The store offered him a free blizzard.... He declined that offer and spoke to one of the higher ups who then offered him a 50 dollar gift card.

We were willing to settle out of court but that was a terrible offer and we are now going through a personal injury lawsuit with dairy queen.

We even got confirmation from Dairy Queen themselves did the piece of rubber. Was off of one of the candy extrusion machines

Update: The staff was super friendly, the food was great, as always and I can say the service was way better than before. Im happy they got it righr this time. I love dairy queen's food and it didn't disappoint. However, they lost our order. We waited a good 20 minutes before I assume the manager asked about us. The cashier had to come to out table to get the receipt to see what we ordered. The manager said she had fulfilled all the orders but the cashier found it sitting off to the side. Who knows how long it was sitting there? After waiting a little longer he brought our food over and apologized. We started eating and realized they never gave us our drink. So we had to ask for it. We had also ordered a banana split for desert. When he brought it to us he only brought one spoon so had to go back for another. By far the worst service we've had there. After all the mistakes it would have been nice to get a coupon or something like a free ice cream...
