I rarely give any business less than 5 stars, and usually we shop at Marketstreet supermarket and they treat us with the utmost customer service and respect. My husband and I visited this store for the first time after driving home from Dr appointments in Amarillo. I wanted to purchase Blue Bell Ice cream because it was on sale at 2 for $8.88. What a good deal. They were selected kinds. Since they were in a cold case on the end cap near the freezer department with a sign of two flavors, so I reached up and got the selected items. We went to the nearest cashier station about 20 feet away from the ice cream. The young man was at register 5, and he rang them both up for $11.50, so I explained they were the wrong price after I put my card in and noticed it. He said that maybe I picked up the wrong ones, and I told him I got them out of the end cap case almost right behind him. He proceeded to argue back by saying he couldn't see the case. I wear glasses and I'm a senior, but I can see the case and the sign saying 2 for $8.88. I asked him to please look again, and he still insisted he could not see the case, and I asked him to please go over and look. He said he can't leave his register. My husband said if he moved over a few feet he could see it. He said well its too late because I already put my card in. I asked where the customer service was. He flipped his hand and said over there. He was very rude and flippant. I went to find it and asked someone. They showed me where customer service was. I went over and explained everything. The young lady went to talk to someone whom I assumed was the manager. She asked me if I clipped the coupon because the manager said it was a digital sale. I explained that no, because it wasn't on my phone and that wasn't what the ad said. She asked for the register number and went back to the manager, and came back to me. She refunded me the difference. I always brag about how I am treated so politely at the Marketstreet store, but I don't feel I was treated politely in any manner...
Read moreMy fiancé ordered a cake Friday for our son’s birthday and Father’s Day, mind you it was a 1/4 sheet cake and was told after ordering to go to the register and pay the ticket then bring your receipt with her on Sunday “ the desired pick up time”. We go to pick up our order and was then told a totally different ordering process… so to our disappointment there was NO CAKE MADE and in return was rudely told EVERYONE knows what to do. She explained to the employee that no one informed her to bring the ticket back up to them after ordering at the bakery then going to the register to pay and then take the receipt back to the bakery. No apologies, no trying to make things right and absolutely no respect…..just turning around saying I’ll get you your refund and saying rosy tried to call you, again, mind you there was never a message nor a missed phone call log ! I think this is the worst customer service we have ever had in this store and not to mention my mother in law experienced the similar customer disrespect with this bakery! We will never shop at this location ever again until your management puts in effect and control on their rude and disrespectful...
Read moreIv been using this store for my groceries for years but the other day i went in and i was buying a few things and i had rolled up some loose change, $9 in dimes rolled up, i usally just use my change in the self check out without any problems, but this day i went to a different line and tryed to use my rollled dimes and was rudely told by noah hernande that i could not use my change, iv used change in the self check out for the pass year and in other lines, he was very rude about it and finly said the manager said they would take it this time but not anymore, today 6-28-24 i used $5 in chance without an issue, and i went to the store on parkway and used some rolled $2 nicheal rolls without indent, this person was so rude in front of other customers that other employees were laughing at me and noah was being a mast off about it because he was in charge, it made me not want to use the store anymore, mr hernandez needs to apologize to me, anymore of this kinda stuff will be reported to the corporate...
