On the 24th me and my friend Loretta went to pick up a few last minute things. One of my grands wanted a particular pair of shoes from Academy Sports + Outdoors. We found them in her size. As we stood in line I began to pray for a good price on them, a sale. I heard Loretta began to pray with me, softly praying barely a whisper.. A man from Academy came up to me as I was in line to check out. Said, mam, I need you to come with me to this register. I had those shoes he said who are you getting those shoes for. I said, my granddaughter. He said mam Academy is purchasing those shoes for you. No one has to know. They are yours you can exchange them if the size isn't right or what ever you need. And here's a $10.00 coupon, as he handed me the receipt. I looked at him and just cried. Thanking God.knowing We asked God for a sale. When the man spoke. I heard in my spirit. You asked for a sale but JESUS PAID IT ALL. And HE always gives abundantly more than I can ask or even think. I told him how JESUS PAID IT ALL We were crying. Needed more registers open. 2 out of 10 registers open and the checkout line was extremely long. Both ladies that work the front door are terribly rude. I have been to this store 2 times attempting to purchase a $1000 item. The first time an associate told me he would be right back with me when I asked him about the item and he never returned so I left. The second time I asked the lady at the front door if she could look on her hand held device to see if they had the item in stock as it is a large item and she rudely told me that she couldn't help me so I left again. Ordered the item online and when I showed up to pick the item up. I walked up to the lady working the front door and told her that I had a large item ordered online that I needed to pick up. She rudely told me to go get in the line which stretched a quarter of the way across the store. I left again, at this point I will just log on and return the item and pick it up from Dick's...

Edited it May 1st: go down to see what i said. Absolutely destroyed! Does nobody know what front and face is? How are you suppose to shop when everything is destroyed.

Edit to add on May 1st: My oh my. Nothing has changed. These reviews have got to be fake. Went in today to return somethings my husband got for his birthday. Got greeted with a 30 minute wait in line. Line all the way in the clothes with 2 cashiers open. Another came maybe 5 minutes before I got to one. Then got greeted with we can't refund this to a gift card it has to go back on the person's card. Like what it was a gift and I had the receipt for the items. Had to wait another 15 minutes for managers. Then a manager came said she didn't know how. So had to get another manager who refunded it to a gift card. NEVER AND I MEAN NEVER WOULD BUY ANYTHING FROM THERE. NOT...
