One of the most disrespectful people, aka Sean, that I have had the displeasure of working with. If you are military do not shop at this dealership. I went in to check on a vehicle with my soldier to see if we could get him into an affordable car for him. When going in we looked at a Mitsubishi Mirage that was listed for under 10 K their site. It was in poor condition, so I was trying to get the price at an appropriate amount. After negotiating, they said they would not go lower than the 10K that they were asking which it was in poor condition, so I was trying to get the price at an appropriate amount. After negotiating, they said they would not go lower than the 10K that they were asking which I personally thought was a bad deal personally, but my soldier was sold on getting a car. After going to finance, it was brought to my attention that the Seller Sean miss presented the numbers that was given to us. The sales price he tried to hoodwink my soldier with was 13 K and then 10 K after A 3K down payment. This made no sense since the car was listed at under 10,000 and made Sean aware of that and that is when all gloves came off. He said that it’s now 10 K after we give him a 3K down payment, but that was not what we originally agreed with. When I was defending my soldier, he stopped me while I was speaking and told me that my opinion did not matter since I was not purchasing the car. I explained to him that I am his NCO and is my responsibility to take care of my soldier. He then later went on saying so now you are a battalion commander, which has nothing to do With what we were discussing, but an attempt To pretend to know what a NCO is. I explained to him as his NCO that it is my responsibility to protect my soldiers, but then he kept going back to pretending to know anything about military, and the duty of an NCO, and bringing random terms to try to discredit me. After he started spewing out nonsense, I asked him if he ever served in the military And he said “ Do you know who pays your paycheck?” Implying that I owe Sean since I am in the Armed forces. At that point, we had to leave the dealership and just call the whole deal off. It is an insult and extremely unprofessional the way Sean was acting and Will be sure and let people know how Nissan Luggoff Views, active duty and veterans. The disrespect is just awful and will prevent me from ever recommending this place. Especially with people like Sean...
Read moreI have a 2002 Nissan Sentra with low miles only 37,000 in December 2024. I drove the Nissan from winter 2024 to the summer of 2025 putting approximately 16,000 miles on the vehicle with no issues other than the AC periodically worked on and off. I took the vehicle to the Lugoff Nissan dealership where they told me the vehicle needed a new AC compressor. The Lugoff Nissan service department changed the AC compressor and stated the Alternator needed to be replaced as well. When the vehicle was returned to me from the service department my engine light and the battery light were on. When there were no lights on in the dashboard as long as I had the vehicle. I mentioned it to the service person he told me to drive it for awhile and it will eventually go off. By the time I returned home I called the dealership to let them know I drove the vehicle approximately fifteen milesthe AC still doesn't work and the lights are on in the dashboard. I brought the car back the next day the vehicle was in the shop for several hours. The vehicle was ready the AC still didn't work and the battery light on the dash was still on. I was told I needed a new alternator all of a sudden. I left the dealership and went to a backyard mechanic and he discovered the NISSAN dealership mechanic loosened the alternator wire causing it to teeter therefore, having the battery light come on in the dashboard. The alternator wire was tighten and the battery light went off on the dashboard. I was also told there was 2 pounds of freon put in the AC system. When the backyard mechanic checked the AC system it was too much pressure in the AC lines with no freon in the lines. The backyard mechanic flushed the system and put the proper amount of freon in the AC system and now the AC actually work. The vehicle only has 53,000 miles and I never had any issues with the vehicle other than the AC not working, until I took the vehicle to the Lugoff Nissan dealership. I'm frustrated because I spent a lot of money at that dealership only to take the vehicle elsewhere to actually...
Read moreWould not recommend this dealership. Here is what went wrong. I kept the sales rep informed that I was traveling ( about 2 hours) to see the used car listed for sale. On the day I came to dealer ship I texted repeatedly my location and that I was coming. ( Car and price was worked out before arrival) When I arrive at dealership the car had not been cleaned and fact looked like it was covered in dust. The car tested well as the rep informed me two new tires were put on the front. After we get back from test drive. The paper work was started and rep said that car would be detailed and ready. At time of paper work I asked can you the dealer handle out of state tag transfers. They said yes. Here is what went wrong. The front of car has serious road rash. Needs to be repainted. This explains why it was not detailed. There was 3 brands of tires on the car. Yes the two in front were new. The driver side was down 3/32. 2/32 will fail state inspection. Right before paper work was to be signed I am told they only have one key. The rep offered a web site where I can buy one. Cant make this up. Took over 45 days for my tag to get transferred. In the mean time I get a notification from the state that I am in volitation of using a tag without insurance. I was told by the Dealership that the DMV told them I had a civil offence against me and DMV would not discuss the issue. The civil offence was because the dealer did not submit the paper work in time. I was driving illegally with the tag on new car. Move forward. We traded in my wife's car last week at another dealership. Completely different experience. The car was setting out front cleaned doors open and running. They were up front on every issue and walked through it with me. ( Again we traveled to dealership and I kept the rep informed where we were) Having not purchased from a Dealership in 8 years. I trusted the Lugoff to be transparent and not hide anything. I have learned a...
