Went to the one in lugoff it always clean but that dav the place was terrible they had 3 young people there.. That not going to stop me from eating there. They act like didn’t know what they were doing . One just stood at the register will not help with the food. 2 were on the line the girl that was standing at the register we are not help on the line with the food. the line was very long... The young man that was On Line, helping to prepare the sandwiches ran out of lettuce and he asked the young lady that was just standing there at the register will she go get a container of lettuce, so he can still be on line preparing the food. She told him no.He had to stop preparing the sandwiches to go get the lettuce. I never experienced nothing like that at the subway in Lugoff, South Carolina. They are always clean and have more than one person online. even the one at the register will always be On Line helping to prepare the sandwiches. The young man was working so hard.. Read moreRecently, I attempted to place an order via their dysfunctional website. As has happened before, for whatever reason, the order did not complete after I entered payment information and hit the button to complete the transaction. I get to the window and learn that the transaction did not go through. This is not the first time. I ask the kid at the window if he can work with me and take the order there. I had been working in the yard, needed a shower, and my back was hurting. He said I would need to come inside to order. There were no other cars behind me in line. Guess what Bucko? You just missed a $10 tip on a less than $10 purchase I had tried to make. That is what happens when you have no work ethic and will not go an extra inch to accommodate your customers. Yes, I always tip $10 for such orders. Don't worry, someone else will get that tip as I don't plan on returning here.
As to their crummy on-line ordering system, there is SO much wrong with it, besides it not processing the order. It will not let you just add a drink or a side item and check out. Read moreI used to love getting a sub from here but the price of things now has become overwhelming. The prices here are no exception they keep going up and the meat gets thinner on the sandwichs. My go to is large 19 on sweet wheat, all the way, no bologna, light on the lettuce, heavy mayo. The last sandwich I got from here I could barely taste the meat, there about half as much as there was back in the day. 2 large salads and my 19 no drinks no chips was 68 bucks. Unfortunately I won't be going back. 😕 To the reply I know what I paid it was 68 dollars I called it in and picked it up through the drive thru.
