Roses Discount Store — Local services in Lumberton

This store is always dirty. The aisles are unorganized and usually blocked by pallets. Don’t even get me started on the bathrooms! They are always out of toilet paper and the stalls are atrocious! There are even bugs that are constantly crawling around in the bathroom. Every time I go in there’s either cockroaches, beetles, or both! One time there was even a dead cockroach in the stall for THREE DAYS before someone cleaned it up. Absolutely horrible! Some of the staff is actually pretty nice and try to help if asked around the store. But the managers? Not so much. A blonde manager in particular. Now I get confused for an employee almost every time I go in and usually I just smile and say, “no I’m sorry I don’t work here” but there was a woman outside who needed help with the plants. She was very persistent and kept asking me even after I informed her I didn’t work for Roses. So, to help her out, I went inside to the first employee I saw which happened to be a manager. I told her someone needed help outside and she looked me up and down with this nasty look on her face and rolled her eyes and said. “Okay.” Then she turned around and went back to talking to one of the cashiers. I could see she wasn’t going to listen to me if I asked her again so I decided to do what I came in for but made a mental note to check back up on the manager. It took this way longer than it should have to go help the customer outside. I was able to look at some clothes and then at the jewelry and then at the household products before she even moved from her spot and went outside. It was ridiculous!

Overall, don’t go in the bathrooms unless you like cockroaches and beetles crawling around you. And don’t bother asking the blonde manager for help. She’s rude and will waste time before doing...

A horrible place to be at, I’m surprised that people is still writing reviews about this place. But the management in the building is the worst you could get in Lumberton. They point you in a direction and expect you to do the task at hand as if you been working there for months. They truly have their cocks in their hands when it comes to training and re arranging the place let alone. Like how much stock they have in the back could house our homelessness in the city to be completely honest. That is tip of an atom on the iceberg that you can go down on, from contamination to the environment, it is a place you don’t want your family or friends to be working at. Like a slave house in disguise, the pay isn’t worth your life, the amount of hazard (bio to physical like the boxes and pallets all around the place) OSHA would have a game playing ball with this group of people. Before I make an essay about this place, they should check themselves before someone else like me comes...

They have a little bit of everything and a lot of things you wouldn't even think about needing til you actually go up and down the isles. I highly recommend this place for high quality but VERY affordable rugs!! It's so hard to find an affordable rug. I could spend hours in this store! Huge selection of clothes.. in all sizes. Regular and plus size. Not a big selection of shoes. I got a huge thing of Charmin ultra soft toilet paper, 12 rolls for $6!...
